We could have easily won this game easily.... but the manager is a pussy.

And yet you don't feel annoyed when Z does it?
Deschamps literally pulls the team back into the final 1/3.  Zidane pulls the team back to Madrid's half...  far lower position for Deschamps.  And the wings weren't all that secure to boot.  Sidibe and especially Kurzawa were left in a lot of 1v1s regardless and weren't doing too well.  Varane and Koscielny were incredible to cover that.  Payet, Martial and Sissoko were awful defensively helping them.

I also don't mind it against teams that are offering a challenge.  But France were crushing Holland.  Complete domination.  There was no reason for it until the final 15 mins.  I can understand doing it for the last 15 mins.

Finally, France is highly highly athletic. Other than Payet, all those guys were athletic beasts. It's not like they have midfielders like Modric, Kroos, James and Isco who can't keep up the physical side of the game for a whole match and don't do well in duels. These aspects are among the strengths of players like Pogba, Matuidi, Sissoko and Kante.

Just hope that Pogba's impressive display in France will translate to Man Utd. The club needs him esp right now

With France, he isn't asked to carry the attack while doing all the relaying and ball recovery work...  he's free of the attacking responsibilities unless an opportunity presents itself.

With Man U, they want him to do everything you saw against the Netherlands AND create/score goals.  I think it's too much.  You can't do all of that at the highest level.

Mourinho needs to make Pogba's role into something that he can achieve.

10 men Armenia misses a sitter in the 93rd minute to win the match 2-1. lewandowski scores instantly after that miss to win it for Poland lol

This English system is very different from the Liverpool one, Henderson or Dier didn't have one chance to play a good ball upfront. Too static.

Germany had another convincing win, if unspectacular and still are lacking a good goal scorer ( which is the hardest thing to do in football).  The Northern Irish were brave an fought hard for a 2-0 loss.  The other British teams did well too!

A very convincing 0-0 draw by England -away no less- with Slovenia is also... uhmmm... very good and Scotland should not be ashamed by losing to the other country that begins with slo...something.

British should be very proud of their football advancements.  I hope they somehow manage to make the World Cup, they do try ever so hard.

Coutinho should start while Firmino is most likely still benched.

Ecuador with a late goal gets a 2-2 in Bolivia, I only saw the end of the game, but a point in Bolivia is always good.

Chile and Peru play in the Pisco Derby next.

Uruguay winning 2-1 in Colombia, with 10 mins left. If they hold on to the win, they will top the table at the end of the day.
Pitch looks badly cut up.
