I did tell you guys lol.
Under Pardew we were horrendous to watch, you want to watch his assistant take on Pardew on his new team?
Like seriously lol, was always going to be a disgrace to the sport.

Newcastle caretaker manager John Carver: "It's another game unbeaten, that's one win, three draws and two defeats now, which is not bad in this league.
So 6 wins all season is good?!

Villa scored like 11 goals all season so far.
Lambert should have been sacked way way sooner. What a shit manager. One of the worse in the PL for the last 3 seasons or so.

Lambert going out as arguably Villa's worst ever PL-era manager.
One wonders where he'll find his next job... and if Villa will somehow manage to scrape their way to safety this season.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V7
Lambert's win % was still higher than his predecessor's, McLeish's, so he did improve them from their immediate past
Also, Lambert had the grim task of being Villa's manager in a time when the owner, Lerner, has been looking to sell the club and not waste any more money on it. He just hasn't found a buyer.
In Lambert's 2.5 seasons and 6 transfer windows at Villa, their biggest signings have been:
Benteke £7m
Libor Kozak £5m
Carlos Sanchez £4.7m
Jores Okore £4m
Carles Gil £3.2m
I think out of all Premiership clubs only Burnley have spent less than £7m on their most expensive signing in the last 2.5 years - and Aston Villa have been in the Prem all this time, so they've had the TV monies. But even then Lambert has had to work on a shoestring budget.
Not that I think he's done great there, but considering the circumstances he's certainly not been as bad as people seem to think.

Oh he has Art, it's not just about the horrendous results as I explained many times with Pardew but the football Jesus Christ was it ever horrible.
Just look at how many goals they score lol.

Hilarious part is that even with that horrible record of his at Villa, we never beat Lambert's team at Anfield. It's absurd tbh.

How can you be expected to play good football at this level if you can spend peanuts compared to others? Benteke has been injured half of this season and their second most expensive (attacking) signing in 6 transfer windows is Libor frigging Kozak - who himself has been out all season with a broken leg.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V7
Oh come on when Southampton and Swansea came into the league they played great football and tried to attack teams.
Playing positive has nothing to do with money, you don't need money to play positive and attacking football. Villa are incredibly negative team due to how negative Lambert is and money is just an excuse.
Besides Villa have enough talent to be doing a lot more than they are.

Lambert was actually a good manager at Norwich, managed to get two back to back promotions and a comfortable mid-table finish in the PL. Both his and Grant Holt's career fell apart when they split up.
