Which position do you believe is locked down? Or are Liverpool going to win the league again
The only lock is that Chelsea won't finish outside of top 2.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V7
After the Liverpool game, next 5 matches are against scrubs and/or lower half teams. So hoping/expecting max points.
Leicester
@Burnley
West Brom
@Crystal Palace
@Man Utd
I feel that We will have a top 2 position locked up. Matic out against Soton and west ham could help near the gap at the top.

That's the beauty of run-ins. Those sides desperate not to be relegated, will be playing with their heart on their sleeve (AKA Burnley etc).
I think the best sort of run-ins, are against mid-table sides with nothing to play for. Newcastle/Stoke/Swansea/Westham etc
I, too, think City will get top 2 90%. I rather you win the league ahead of Chelsea, but start going on a run AFTER next Sunday
Liverpool-City games at Anfield are always a cracker.

^ We won't play qualifiers.
Because EL winners go straight to the group stage.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V7
ohhh missed it somehow
next week is going to be even more cracking than this one :
Arsenal vs Everton
Liverpool vs Man City
Man United vs Sunderland
West Brom vs Southampton
I still think, the race for the top 4 will run till the end, specially for 3rd and 4th spot. All the teams are going to hang around there, it is going to be really interesting

Only really Burnley and Leicester are in danger and Leicester are crap.
I could see Burnley causing a problem though like they did last time.

Chelsea and City are locks, Arsenal are 90% locks.
4th is between Liverpool and Yanited, Spurs and Southampton don't have what it takes for a number of reasons.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V7
For the first time in 4 years we have a chance of getting to CL quarters. So I wouldn't say 90% locked because we will have more fixtures during the run in than we had in the past.
Still would be shocked if we don't finish 3rd. We have the best squad amongst our competitors and on par with title challengers imo.

I think it is because of their tactics. Whenever I have seen them, Burnley seem to be playing a very good tactical game with whatever quality they have. I think they will stay upGreat Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Only really Burnley and Leicester are in danger and Leicester are crap.

RG pls.
Same thing happens every year, it's pretty obvious what's going to happen.

Looking forward to our 6 month avatar bet of "United will comfortably finish in top 4" we made 3 weeks ago.
You seem to change your opinion more than Miley Cyrus changed her knickers these days

It's amazing that RedAlert so strongly thinks Rodgers is tactically one-dimensional.
Yes he has his faults, but he's the most tactically-flexible manager I've seen at my life time.
Some of them formations...

Rodgers is legit
I have come to the conclusion that he purposely fooled about in the first half of the season to see how quickly everyone would turn against him

If I was given 2 choices:
1. Steph wins MVP. GSW bounced early by OKC
2. Steph don't win MVP. GSW go past OKC.
I'll choose the former everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

More chance of winning MVP and going through than neither happening.
