I think it's supposed to be a 433 with Kaka and Messi on the wings

I think its supposed to be a 4-3-1-2, makes complete sense

Btw. I find Pirlo's exclusion of Seedorf and Nesta pretty weird . It's not with the ones that he picked that i find issue , Scholes and Cannavaro .. Both legendary players . Remove that CL dream part and i wouldn't even bother tbh. But in any decent Champions League Dream XI , well , leaving Seedorf out who has won more CLs than Manchester United itself let alone Scholes , or leaving Nesta out who has won 2 CLs in the 3 finals he played and being vital in every single CL campaign , for Cannavaro who won 0 CLs.. I disagree with that.. but anyway . Imho , winning the CL may not be the sole criteria to prove a player had great CL campaigns , but in any decent CL DREAM XI , eh.. you must have CL winners , at least one time CL winners. Doesn't have to do with who was necessarily better , or who do you preffer . And that's what Pirlo did too , just with an exception to prove the rule. He just had to insert Juventus material in , when others have been more succesfull in the CL

Of course, he is. But i wouldn't expect Goycochea to care, considering Di Stefano left Real Madrid when he was still, practically an infant.

People generally don't care much about past greats, they just want to worship and appreciate what is most recent - which is why someone who only witnessed Maradona during the twillight of his career is willing to ignorantly and blatantly devalue his abilities based on limited knowledge, when comparing him to Messi. After all, we all know that when a player doesn't have a lot of videos up on Youtube, it must mean that they never were all that great.. or popular!
