Gianluca Gaudino has signed his first professional contract this week, after previously performing for a reported 250 € per month youth contract.
The contract runs until 2018.

Son of SV Waldhof Mannheim and Stuttgart legend Maurizio Gaudino, Gianluca surprisingly started this season opening top game against Wolfsburg and performed to everyone's delight for 90 minutes.
Since then he's made 2 sub appearances in the league, one in the cup as well as his first CL start in the group phase's last match against Moscow.

Gianluca Gaudino is still loaned out to FC St.Gallen 1879 until June 2017.



As he had some problems during the whole last season, he decided to undergo a groin surgery last month so that he can make a fresh start into the new season in the Swiss Super League.

After his time in Switzerland, we have sold Gianluca to Chieva Verona for 50k €.
