Should be an interesting game for both fans and neutrals. Close game to call, hopefully Barca's experience and with some Messi magic Barca will get through.

Aguero has a history of scoring against Barca while this will be City's first R16 match so they would want to do well.
Barca are still one of the best teams despite inconsistent displays.

City have the best team in England and have beaten Bayern and Roma this season. How exactly don't they have a chance? This isn't exactly the best Barca team either.

Kinda agree with Gil here. City do have a decent shot at doing well in this tie. Just need to keep the scoreline low at the Camp Nou.

Don't understand how people think this will be an easy win for Barca. I personally want them to win as the longer Messi/Ronaldo are the CL the better but I have a bad feeling City will edge this.

Hm. City have a stronger team than Barcelona on paper (if healthy). The real issue is getting them to perform in Europe, or getting the tactics right. Barcelona have more gamebreakers though and that could be the difference here. Make no mistake City definitely have a shot of beating Barcelona here and I wouldn't consider either team favourites.

i'd say a trio of fernando-toure-fernandinho + silva might be better on paper than anything barça is fielding these days .

We've seen how they've performed in Europe over the past 3 years.
They haven't done anything to be worthy of being better in that area.
Even with Xavi and Iniesta declining, they are STILL better.

City's midfield is miles away better than Barça's. We are not even a top 50 pressing midfield in the world anymore.

I saw a City midfield struggle to contain Roma and CSKA......... and come off 2nd best inn two of those games.
