Real Madrid vs Rayo Vallecano
Squad:
Easy game, Rayo prefer beautiful football over results. They are going to play with a highline which is ace for our fast forwards. Are you ready for Bales first decent game of the season??
Jese is nearly back in training, he should be back fully before the international players get back from NT duty. Coentrao is back in training (for now), Khedira, Carvajal and Illarra are injured/unavailable so Medran & Sergio Aguza have been called up instead
This would be a good game to rest Benzema, Kroos, Modric who have played alot this season.
Probable line up:

Hopefully we'll rest some players. James,Kroos,Modric and Benz looked tired midweek

Glad Nacho is starting over the useless Arbeloa. No Isco as expected

Best team in the world right now, and its not even close. Infact, if real were to meet barca again, it would be nothing short of a manita for barca..and thats being generous, this includes buyern too (3-0 at the very least).

Re: Real Madrid vs Rayo Vallecano
Didnt like our overall play. Not as good as we have played in the last couple of games. We let Rayos wingers cross freely.
Ronaldo being selfish in yet another game, Bale anonymous and James having an awful game
That said hopefully that means we go back to having James on the right and Isco on the left because we played our best football with that 442

True.
I think Ancelloti was just trying out a few options in different positions. Bale did ok, but nothing to merit to start before Isco.
Also I am surprised why Illara didn't play even as a sub.

Ronaldo has been awful since the Barcelona game. In the the last match against Liverpool, he was absolutely horrendous. A very bad patch of form has come along.

Re: Real Madrid vs Rayo Vallecano
I think we played just fine. Bale was very goood, he gives us something different, something we lack when Ronaldo isn't on his very best, like yesterday.
Just As Carlo said, we can't control every game. It would've been hard to control the game even if we played with Isco, since Rayo is a very good team at keeping the ball. Don't forget, Rayo is the only team to ever keep more possession than Barca in the last 5 years! That's why playing with Bale gave us more penetration on both sides of the pitch, and we were able to stretch them off the center. I also think we would've won by a bigger margin if Bale was fit against Liverpool, who simply shut down and refused to play football. In that case, we were in control at any case, but we needed something to penetrate them, especially with Ronaldo's off day.
I think it's great that we have options, and I'm glad that Carlito sees that too.
