Isn't the Newcastle flop Thauvin also tearing it up in France? You simply cannot trust Ligue 1 hype at all. Brexit League One probably a tougher division tbh.

Certainly possible. But there aren't that many good wingers around (that I'm aware of) (i.e. in the Prem), maybe someone will take a chance on either Thauvin or Depay.

I don't see Depay leaving, they'll sell Fekir this summer and Depay will become Lyon's talisman. Nobody is gonna offer 50m for him, IDK the specifics of our buy back clause.

Same with Thauvin, they want an absurd fee for him, nobody will pay.

Yeah, you might be right. The fact both of them have already flopped in the Prem is probably going to keep those clubs away that could afford to buy them.

Lol, no it won't. PL clubs have more money than sense and would pay for them again. And considering those two have shown they are "better", they'll pay even more. PL clubs never learn or don't show the capacity to learn.

Right, I still think we're a ways off these clubs dropping 50m for a single player. They seem to be getting closer and closer though. Teams like Palace and Everton dropping 30-35 often.

They only drop big money when they sell for big money.

Everton only did it once they sold Lukaku, very few PL clubs actually spend big on one player unless they sell huge first.

Depay should not go, with Fekir gone, it's HIS team now, and he is playing the Champions league next season. He should wait until he raises his level high enough to go to a top club again
