Memphis Depay - Future Flop, now a MC Empty Memphis Depay - Future Flop, now a MC

A physical specimen with pace, some trickery and power. Only 20 years old and rightfully should have won the young player award at the World Cup. 10 goals in 10 games so far this season absolutely dominant.

Maybe a little less tricky and less selfish than Ronaldo though.

Quite one footed to be labeled the next "Cristiano Ronaldo". Personally, he's more suited to be a left sided Robben (who started off as an actual left winger).

Still, nice player from the looks of things.

I absolutely hate terms like "dutch Ronaldo" or "next Robben" but that aside he's a legit talent. Should become a great player.

There are so many next Messis and CRs out there, that you can put them all together in 2 XIs, with subs. I even remember some people comparing E. Hazard to C. Ronaldo. At least, he's gotten somewhere Razz

I think the reason why there's been such a ridiculous amount of "next C. Ronaldos" in the past, is because most young, attack-minded players want to adopt the playing style that CR7 had when he was younger - pace, technique, power, 2-footedness, the confidence to fire off shots from 30+ yards out. Put all of these traits together, and you have a very appealing playing style.

there was a recent update that we have made the contact and are in pole position to land him next summer. Dont know whether its true. May be just a rumour. Anyway Spuds and us are the only team which are after him its being said as of now. So no major worries there. Cool

We won those titles despite being absolute dogshit because there was just no decent team competing. De Boer is clueless and his subs are by far the worst I've ever seen from any manager in my lifetime.

My understanding on Memphis Depay is Liverpool & PSG are the only clubs to have held talks with him up to now. Obviously that could change.
