Lucas and Alba is a intresting little battle.

PSG want the ball? Will be a good and first test to see how our team handles high pressure and what kind of positional play we offer to counter it.

That's Barca's problem. Apart from his amazing pace, Lucas has very good ball skills. Alba will need cover, otherwise the Brazilian will destroy him.

Perhaps. But if Barca are doing what they are supposed to, we will be putting high pressure on them and every time Lucas gets the ball he should have his back to Alba, outnumbered with little support and he should get half the touches he is used to and therefore likely to rush his play.

He also cant just kick and run on Alba, he has to actually play and think..which he obviously can.

That is true. Which side did Mathieu play as FB? Can he fill Alves' spot if Douglas/Montoya go south? This of course would work only if Bartra develops well.

Leftback. And at his age, I highly doubt he can play the fullback position how he has (high energy, alot of runs and outpacing/overpowering his way forward) for much longer.

We could dominate this game if we werent making the most basic errors.

Busquets, Alba and Alves also dribbling at the back and losing possession. Both goals because of that.

Disrespectful performance. Trying to dribble and hold the ball like they are some scrub team, we should be passing the ball at the back not playing with it.

We can score, they dont look good at the back, but we are causing our own problems and they dont even have to defend well.

Dribbling constantly, the fullbacks, Busquets, Rakitic..Pedro..

When Neymar, Iniesta and Messi arent the ones over dribbling, clearly there is a problem.

Oh and our pressure is shocking. WTF is the plan here.

We are pressing with a 442 to stop their wide centerback build up. Saving Neymar running back and makes it easy for Messi, I get it. But Pedro is often starting near the middle, it forced Rakitic out to the right. Verratti can drop in the middle easily also.

We arent winning the ball back high, Lucas isnt outnumbered and he is getting his share of touches.

If Messi is going to just stand there and walk, can he at least just man mark a CB?

At the moment he is floating around in the middle of nowhere and Pedro is has to be in 2 different places.

Finally have two tall CBs in Pique and Mathiu, and we still only use one of them and go with the short Masch to pair with one of them.

Dude Pique always steps up in big games...why use Masch ahead of him in a big match?
