Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
Robespierre wrote:The deal had to be closed yesterday but Everton inserted on race to sign him , but Shaqiri wanted only Inter. This according Di Marzio.
It had to be 2 now and 13 this summer, instead it is 0 + 15 .
Always 15 totally , but it changes for us because it doesn't load the financial budget this year.
I knew it the great Rummenigge would have helped us, we're his 2nd team
according to GDM loan + 15M obligation + bonuses
according to Bild loan + 18M (no mention if obligation or option)
according to the clubs websites, they dont want to tell the numbers...

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
German media claim it's 18m €, 15 for the obligatory sale and 3 for a retroactive loan fee lol, as officially it's a free loan till end of season.
But maybe they're counting all possible boni, like another million if Shaq wins the ballon d'or or something like that lol.
Anyway, it's a bargain for a player that
- can reasonably expected to improve after playing regularly for a while (if we take his 2012/13 performances after his arrival in Munich as a measure, which were much better than what he produced recently)
- is still very young, just turned 23, but already has sizeable experience in different leagues and international tournaments, a CL trophy and been coached by Hitzfeld, Heynckes and Guardiola
- and has something to prove now.
I'd just warn you not expect too much too soon, he hasn't played much in the last 18 months.

Can't believe Im about to ask this ffs, but does anyone know what Adebayor's contract/Wage situation is? I hear he's being offered to MLS clubs but I'm not sure how feasible it is

I believe usually more in Di Marzio than others, he was right also about the sort of bid made for Podolski ( Telegraph said free loan with obligation ) , but anyway 15 or 18 I don't care of course, I wanted Shaqiri and this counts . All Inter fans are enthusiastic for this signing. We didn't buy a player from Bayern since Lucio
Anyway , just to remember how much is garbage Tuttosport

van Gaal pushing Lucio out and then losing the CL final against Inter with a backline of Van Buyten and Demichelis

Shaqiri to Inter. Good signing. He was quite impressive during the World Cup.
So that's Shaqiri and Valdes who turned down Liverpool then?

Sampdoria wants to sign Samuel Eto'o . They are talking with agent and the Cameroonian likes the solution , according Sky Italy / Di Marzio.

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
This whole thing with Lampard and NYCFC is ridiculous. Not gonna lie if I had season tickets/purchased Lampard gear I would think about asking for a refund.
Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
When he played for Switzerland, he usually looked pretty good despite his lack of club playing time.Hapless_Hans wrote:I'd just warn you not expect too much too soon, he hasn't played much in the last 18 months.

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
Very important news :
Roma is available to sell Mattia Destro with a free loan with obligation to buy him this summer for 15 ( basically similar to Shaqiri deal)
Milan is already treating with Roma so as to sign him.
First offer : swap with Pazzini , but Roma refused. It wants money. New contact in next hours
Source Gazzetta dello Sport / Sky
It can change much in Sereie A. I mean , if Roma sells Destro this January , are they going to buy a better CF ? It might be the key for Scudetto....

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
And Gazzetta dello Sport tweeted ( Laudisa , his pundit about transfer market .. he' s legit ) just 11 seconds ago :
Lucas Leiva is very close to sign with Inter . It's close the agreement among 2 clubs.

I wouldn't pay more than 10m for Destro.
Hopefully these words don't come back to haunt me

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
PSG is available to sell Lavezzi in this January and he costs 10 mln , he could be a signing to complete the attack but he is not a CF
tbf if Roma signs a great CF Tiotti risks to be benched, and Totti is the Roma as Messi for Barca
Has Jackson Martinez a clause ? Roma appreciated him

You're better off recalling Matri.

Re: 2014/15 Winter Transfer Rumours
Regarding Milan's endless hunt for new forwards...
I wouldn't take Osvaldo because he's a proven psychopath. I would take Destro, and ideally I'd like to get rid of Pazzini at the same time. Although, I wonder if we could get Zaza for less. There's no way we're getting Berardi because he's owned by Juve.
It should be said that we desperately need a good CB to arrive and I hope that the club is focussing on this.

I think that's a backwards move for Schurrle and that's also a stupid amount of money for him.
