"Shaqiri has been in the transfer news headlines in recent week. The winger has struggled to find playing time under Guardiola, and has numerous suitors including two in Italy as well as Liverpool. Juventus just met with Shaqiri's agent, they have reached an agreement with him, but they have yet to convince Bayern since they will only do a loan with option to buy. Inter is further ahead than the bianconeri with the German club since they are willing to accept a forced option to buy. Inter's sporting director Ausilio will have another conversation with Shaqiri's brother/agent and the intermediaries in the deal, they are about 300,000 euro apart in the negotiation. Then there is Liverpool, who unlike the two Italian clubs are willing to purchase Shaqiri outright, they have offered Bayern Munich 14 million euro, but they have yet to talk to Shaqiri's entourage. More updates are expected at the beginning of next week."

but Liverpool is not okay for wingers/ CAM?

According Sky Italy, Juve retires from race for Shaqiri .  It is only Inter  vs Liverpool now . Juventus aims all on Sneijder.

Sneijder was goat in his prime, but he's 31 this year. There's plenty of younger CAM's available with cheaper wages.

It' d hurt me a bit for a sentimental matter tbh , although he can have same impact than Edgar Davids under us in 2004.

Sneijder is still very good from what I saw when he played against Arsenal and Dortmund in CL. I don't know if Juventus necessarily need him as I don't watch much Serie A nowadays but he can do a good job still.

this is because he can't be a sure starter for a league imo , he can't keep  always 90 minutes , besides injures during years etc
hardly he 'd kept the  Premier League 's paces as some said about him .. I remind when Koeman confirmed interested on him  
WC is just 4-5 matches and he can give his best in this small  tournament because he remains a quality player . Besides Sneijder was always great with Netherlands.
Anyway he 'd be signed for turnover I suppose. on the other hand he can't play in Champions League this year

Sneijder can still score few goals and his quality will come through in patches. His stamina is shocking though so he needs to be played like Pirlo.

If Juve get him on a cheap then it's not a bad deal.

The problem with Sneijder has always been his wages not his transfer fee

Sneijder is a luxury player. Juve don't need passengers. He's like Messi without the ability. Messi is the only one that can get away with that level of non nonchalance on the pitch because he is a player/coach.

I have no idea, but I know Arsenal will not buy a striker...

So it looks like, as long as Shaqiri agrees, Liverpool will get him. Doesn't make a ton of sense to me unless they're converting Sterling to full time striker, but we'll see I guess.

I would like to know what keeper we're going to get. We've been linked with like 50 of them. My favourites of course are Perin and Karius, but I think Ochoa, Romero or Neto are more likely.

Hopefully Rodgers and co. can just get the deals done and hammered out early on in the window so we can make the most of them and not have them swooped up from under us at the last minute.

Why are you guys no longer after Valdes? He was crazy good last year before his injury. In fact the moment Valdes got injured is the moment we lost all major trophies. Surely he deserves a try?

should be going after someone like Scuffet imo this kid is apparently Buffon's heir, sign him and loan him out for a few years like Chelsea did with Courtois and fill in right now with a stop gap keeper like Valdes
