How serious is this Cerci-Torres deal/rumor???

Why would Atletico want such deal. May be Cerci hasn't done well or isn't slotting-in, but Torres has been abysmal for three years now.

Is there a bigger big game player than him?

Just off the top of my head with Chelsea he scored that goal against Barca in 2012 CL semifinal that sent us through, that crucial assist against Benfica away where he did the 95% of the work or for example his impact as a late sub RW created panic and havoc against Napoli and Bayern and was a key reason we cameback against them, and even in that match against United where he missed an open net he still scored and was our best player. Then he scored in the EL final (which we played only because he carried us), he scored against Neuer in the SuperCup against Bayern, he scored the goal that would've sent in the final against Atletico Madrid.

For Spain he scored the winning goal of Euro 2012's final that ended the drought for Spain and started the cycle of three consecutive NT titles where he was instrumental as he was in the build-up of the Iniesta goal and top scorer of Euro 2012 (scored too in the final).

For Liverpool he single-handedly kicked out Inter of CL, he was always toying with Vidic-Ferdinand when they were still in their prime and one of the reason we bought him is that he ALWAYS scored against us and now he's back at Atletico destroying Madrid in one of his very first matches since the return. Unreal.

Well I guess we live to learn. We only realize how good and important things are in our life when they no longer are part of it.
Would take him back in place of Remy and Drogba and make him rotate with Costa similar to how he's rotating with Mandzukic now, absolutely.

Well I didn't say the goal was completely useless because obviously a lot can happen but it's not as if it was a match winner or a super important goal.
I'm quite sure he scored a decent amount of more important goals than that.
