By the end of this season people will recognize Jordan Henderson as one of the top 5 B2B players in the world

You heard it here first folks. Hell, you could make an argument he's already a top 10 one with the season he just put in at 23 years of age, but make no mistake when he stops bottling all the chances he gets from his immaculate runs he will be putting up 10+ goals and 10+ assists regularly. Add that to the fact that he doesn't even have a human engine (definitely part robot IMO), has incredible presence on the field, and keeps his hair slick and tidy...

He's easily the most improved player in the league in recent times, Probs the reason we lost the league, Couldn't handle Crystal Pulis or Chelsea Bus Tours and travels on the counter. Future LFC captain, Give him 3-4 years. Good player as of now, Underrated. Nothing more.

Nice to see Cujo doing a McAgger here tho

He's a decent player, but I don't rate CM's who aren't flashy, technical or creative.

The more likely scenario is that he is going to look like a headless chicken in the CL.

Ummm...do you watch Henderson? Depending on your definition of flashy he's all three. He's at the very least extremely technical and creative.

Who would you say are the top 5 right now? Hard to say he will become one which people recognise when we dont even have much of a consensus.

We don't even have a consensus on which players actually play this role of box-to-box midfielder

I am struggling to think of a top 5 B2B.

Vidal, Pogba, Marchisio, Khedira, Yaya, Fernandinho and Ramires, thats all I can think of. I am not even sure some of them count.

Forgot about Matuidi and Strootman. Not sure Ramsey is B2b either Could be wrong though.

Still, not really that crazy, Hendo isn't bad and some of these players are not much better than him.

My definition of a B2B midfielder, is one who provides a high level of energy in both sides of the field. And the best ones are those who offer the most quality in both sides of the field.

In that regard, I'd say Vidal is the best B2B midfielder around atm.

Despite not really being a fan, have to admit that was a good assist today.

He's improved ten fold and can run for days, but he's still got a long way to go. Like Nicks post above.
