Im pretty sure he isnt the problem in our team right now. Smile

1 goal and 3 assists in 9 games is decent as well.

He needs to add to his game in the final third. Only thing he lacks. Not world class yet. Not until his a consistent goal scoring threat. He's been told to defend more this season though, so can't solely blame him.

If Henderson were Spanish with a name like, let's say...Xabi Alonso, people would be calling him world class. He's a very good cm Would walk into most teams set up.

His gamestyle makes him eligible for most set ups, Glad he's improving on new and important skill sets like shooting, long balls etc.

He's got a good future if he can continue this improvement. This is valid for a number of kids ( Can, Ibe, Sterling, Sturridge, Hendo, Coutinho ) in this Liverpool squad.

Can (21), Sturridge (25), Hendo (24) and Coutinho (22) aren't kids. They are grown men at this point and I'm glad Hendo is having a good(ish) season, liked his improvement from last season and glad it is still continuing.

Yep. I don't think there are many, if any, actual central midfielders that outproduced him this season in the top 5 leagues, and he did it on a struggling offensive team where he is tasked with much more than just providing offensive contributions.

I think you could certainly make the case for him being in the top 5 B2B in the world based on this and last season.

He needs more freedom than playing the deep-lying role, his game isn't all about distribution, it's also about movement off the ball. If Klopp's plans are to use Henderson the way he's gone into the season I expect him to be benched sooner or later.
