Getting Vidal will complete the uppgrade in an area they have had problems throughout many years. All they need after that is a great CB and a winger and they would have the team Moyes probably wished he had before signing

I think it is too much to ask for, like half new signings, new coach, new methods, new style probably. They can come even close to challening only when Chelsea and City do too too bad, but I dont see how they will do bad than ManUtd when they have upgraded themselves in the right area.

If City can win the league with Demichelis clowning around every other game then so can United. They only need one WC CB, if they can peel Humnels away from Dortmund that would complete their defence transformation and if they can persuade DiMaria to sign for them that would be the winger they needed. Of course it's easier said than done but if reports are to be believed they are definitely after wingers (Cuadrado mentioned along with DiMaria), CBs (Hummels keeps being mentioned and so too Vermealen etc) and DMs/B2B/CMs (Strootman, DeRossi, Vidal) so its not like they will stop after Vidal

Demichelis didn't cost them that many games, if anything Kompany cost them more. plus he was very good March onwards. (nasir pls back me up)

hummels in unreachable this year imo....dat double swoop next summer for him and reus tho

City on paper have an impressive squad but they very rarely had a full squad last season because of injuries to various players both starters and bench players. Pelle had to make do with Garcia, Dzeko, Milner for about half of the second half of the season games and they still managed to win the titles. Hart and Demichelis probably cost City more points than Toure and Kompany combined. As I said having a complete WC defense is not needed, you only need to outscore the team to do well in the league. CL is a different story but they won't be there next season. Besides Hererra and Vidal are two work horses, it could make their defender's lives alot easier than Fernandinho and toure did for theirs
