Guys do you have any idea why we stopped chasing Menez (Who could apparently sign as a free agent)?

He has already signed for Milan dude

so why did we stop chasing him? some months ago there were many reports indicating that we are after him

Menez chose AC Milan over Juventus and Fiorentina states agent

Menez spoke to Footmercato about why his brother left PSG and chose AC Milan and commented on why Juventus may have become less interested in the forward.

“There was no economic issue with PSG,” said the agent. “Jeremy wanted to play more than he did last season so we had decided to reject a renewal with PSG.

“Milan had shown the most interest in him, but they were not the only ones who wanted to sign him. Fiorentina and Juventus also wanted him, and Antonio Conte liked him.

“However, I believe that Conte had been thinking more about his departure than anything else for some weeks and had lost interest.

“We ended up quickly dismissing our other options in favour of AC Milan.”
