Missed this post yesterday but yeah, think it was the season after the 81 point game that he had 50+ points in 4 straight games. Just ridiculous.

They had no business making the playoffs with Smush, Devean George, Kwame but still made it both years.

It baffles me how there is this narrative I keep hearing that Wade had a season (I assume they mean they mean the 30 a game in 08) in which Kobe never matched.

Jibberish in my opinion, Kobe had numerous..including that one.

For me there was no point in any time which I felt Wade was better than Kobe.

It also applies to this Duncan vs Shaq I keep hearing, where alot of people consider Duncan to be the better player. Which again baffles me because when both were in their primes, there was no point in time I considered Duncan on Shaq's level.

Harden beasting lol, anyway how does everybody feel about Rose going? Because it seems like the way he's being talked about that he is.

I understand he's apparently been impressive and at his best as he's probably the best guard there.

But I just don't see how you can trust his health, makes a lot more sense to take someone more reliable IMO.

there was the year wade went for 30/5/8 on 50%, better than any year kobes had. kobe was definetly the better scorer, wade wasn't far behind and shot a better percentage . overall, they are mostly the same player in terms of production, kobe has a better reputation in on-on-one defense, but he's been terrible the last few years. and wade is the best shotblocking guard ever not named jordan.

Id take wade simply because he's a better teammate, but you cant really lose with either one

Where's the proof he's a better team mate? For all the claims of Kobe being a selfish chucker it's funny that he won 2 chips with Pau as a 2nd option.

Surely if he was such a bad team mate they wouldn't have won anything? He's a lot better at making those around him better than he's given credit for.

Yeah, from what I've heard he's looked great, especially on defense.

Boogie is playing hard as hell and has made some nice plays. It would be a joke to leave him home for fn Plumlee. Even if they just want someone to rebound, pass and play defense... he does all of those things better than Plumlee.

Yeah..im gonna go out on a limb and tell you that year Kobe scored 35 a game was better.

Shooting % is overrated, go to EFG and its much more accurate..and even then, people need to realise you dont win games by who shoots the best %, but who scores the most points.

Kobe at his best was a better defender than Wade at his best, I think everyone knows this and dont need to argue it right?

Im thinking Wall > Irving more than Lillard.

Lillard is a knock down shooter at least, Irving's catch and shoot stats (bottom 14 percent of the league) are some of the most shocking things you will see and neither he nor Lillard are particularly good on D or playing off the ball.

In fact, Irving so bad at catching and shooting even Wall is clearly better.

When you add in Wall's ability on defence and ability in transition..I just aint getting it.

What's up with the Lillard hate? We been through this before dude is legit.

Sure he can't defend but majority of the guards can't anyway only Rose and Wall can be relied upon in that department.

I don't agree with Wall being cut but Lillard shouldn't be either.

I will also say not taking Milsap is a mistake. Not picking on the sterotypical white guys, but I dont think you need both Korver (somewhat unathletic shooter with meh D) and Parsons (PF with small forward game) when you have Curry and Durant.

Milsap gives you some bulk at the 4 while retaining shooting ability from the 3.

Spain's Gasol and Ibaka trio going to give team USA problems on the inside and not taking a 4 with some size (while retaining 3 point shooting) is a misstep.

Agreed on Millsap. I'd take Korver tbh but not Parsons

Korver a dead eye, that 3 point line going to be like a FT to him. I reckon Parsons made it because no George, but still dont think he is needed.

All I hope from it is Rose doesn't break down again.

It's one thing with Irving, you can make the argument for him over Lillard or Wall. Even though I would've taken Wall just because he brings something different.

It's a whole nother when Mason fn Plumlee is in the conversation to make the team over Cousins and/or Drummond(even Millsap). There's really no justifying that. But ratface is gonna end up taking Plumlee just cause he went to Puke.
