C'est petits are ungrateful, after everything Lyon did for them they couldn't even wait for a few years. I guess they are all after that premierleague money.

it's sad , but lyon is a full fledged feeder team at the moment Crying or Very sad

we can't even keep promising youngsters ( martial for example ) let alone the " stars " of the team.

What happened? financially i mean, wasn't that long ago that Lyon had players which only major heavyweights could get.

I would still be surprised if we ended up getting them anyways, if they are that desperate to leave some CL/EL side will get them.

Not just Lyon, it's the same for any ligue club which isn't PSG or Monaco. This is why I got pissed off and stopped watching last season.

the club adopted austerity measures after successive years of heavy net losses , decline of TV rights etc...
the club is also heavily invested in the new stadium ( 135 million euros is from the club’s own resources ) + the debt .

we're basically surviving on profit from sales and will rely on academy youngsters and cheap recruits until the stadium is completed .

at the time OL will have more cash flowing in ( new stadium revenue is estimated at 100 million euros / year ) and with that the possbility of keeping the best players , signing good ones , and maybe going back to being competitive again .

I haven't forgotten about him, he's my favourite player lol and it really saddens me how Pardew has treated him.

But i'm being realistic, even if he stays its likely he'll be ignored because Pardew is an idiot. In which instance we'll need another source of creativity.

Don't feel too sorry for Ben Arfa. He had similar problems at Lyon and Marseille... so i'd give Pardew the benefit of the doubt on him. He's very unprofessional.

In this instance i put it on Pardew, just the pile up of evidence of how he's treated him the last few years.

I can't speak of him at Lyon and Marseille though.

I'm just desperate for another source of creativity really, i can already see it now Cabella gets injured and the midfield is same as last year but De Jong and Riviere for Cabaye and Remy. Laughing
