I can't imagine better marketing for puma than announcing the two tonight.

I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet but.... Sanchez is a Nike athlete, not a chance in hell of him being unveiled at a Puma event.

My point was it would have been stupid not to announce it before the unveiling to excite fans and clearly they agreed. Not that they should have had him walking out in the Armoury tomorrow morning or whatever you're getting at. Did you mean I suggested they announce his signing as part of the promotional pics or something? Because I was getting at what actually ended up happening. It's worked perfectly.

I doubt we are offloading Jenkinson. Arsene wouldn't make such a wholesale change in the squad, for starters. And secondly, Jenks is himself young and the boss sees potential in him.

I guess that there is a hold up with NUFC on Debuchy and this is just alternatives we're having to keep our options open.

As well as Debuchy, AFC about to finalise a loan deal for Manquillo. Both for the right back position.

Manquillo (At M) has been a regular international with the lower Spanish sides. Good defender, likes 2 go forward. AFC got option 2 buy him

I'm guessing that either both Jenkinson and Bellerin go on loan for the season, or Wenger has plans on using Jenkinson at centre back; he does have the ability to play there. Both cases Manquillo comes in as cover for Debuchy for the season.

Does seem weird to be taking a young player on loan, though.

The Telegraphs reckons Newcastle will complete the Janmaat signing after the World Cup. So could all be done next week, with any luck.

Nah, at least according to local media its a done deal we are just waiting for the WC to end so we can complete the deal for Janmaat and sell Debuchy to you.

We apparently want 3 players in before our NZ tour which is on the 18th, so i do doubt you'll be waiting too long.
