yea Celtics are legit... even with Tatum and Brown not being tier 1 stars, their team building hyperfocusing on efficient 3-pt shooting and in your face point-of-attack defense from virtually 4 of their starters; Jrue, White, Brown, Tatum (in that order of importance as well) makes them a force on both ends of the floor. Those 4 dudes being in their hyperathletic prime also makes them easily switchable, making it hard for the opposition to necessarily pick on either of them.

KP is a wildcard in and of himself, that gives them added shooting prowess and post-playmaking on offense, and elite rim protection on defense. But with his new injury, it's safe to say KP will at best always be a "bonus/luxury" player in his career.

Every year the winning team sets the standard for what it takes to win, so it will be interesting to see how much teams copy them and what specifically they do to counter their strengths and weaknesses (like how Wolves this season were specifically built to beat Nuggets). The East is a shitshow, so this might be as good a chance as ever for Celtics to rail off a mini mid-2020s dynasty.

Their team is so well rounded.

Terrible finals but anyone who saw Celtics regularly knew they had nothing to worry about when it comes to the Mavs. Absolutely obliterated them. Tatum is easily my favourite player in the NBA.

I heard about Risacher and Salun who got picked 1st and 6th respectively. Ron Holland seems a pretty good player, much better option than Ivey or Sasser in the Pistons starting five.

Might be one of those drafts where nobody stands out at first but somebody unexpected becomes a monster, as in 2013.

He was the best shooter and the combine and had a 40 inch vertical. That alone is worth the project. He would easily have been picked around here if not for the cardiac arrest and I’m just happy he’s still around. It’s weird seeing someone drafted when you’ve seen their entire life on tv.
