The player being presented with the shirt always happens after the club announces they've reached an agreement for someone. In fact, that's how it works at every club.

So yeah, we don't need to wait for the PUMA kits to be released.

Tbf, the mantra here is "won't believe it till it's on arsenal.com" though.. no? And when player signings are announced there, isn't it normally of the player in question wearing an arsenal kit? Generally it is super imposed.. but, Puma has to unveil the kits first before arsenal super impose what they are going to look like on players bodies..

Arsenal can still make an official statement though:

"Arsenal Football Club can confirm that X has completed a transfer from Y after terms were agreed between the clubs. The player will go under medical check before signing a contract and will be unveiled on this day with our new sexy PUMA kits"

To be fair we rarely make such statements but we could if everything is agreed by now. However we're yet to agree a fee with Barcelona, it could go wrong very quickly.

Chelsea just loaned out Thorgan Hazard to M'Gladbach. We should do the same with Gnabry, these midtable clubs in Germany would love to have a new exciting German prospect in their team for a season and I believe we won't need Gnabry with Joel Campbell coming back. Stuttgart would be a great club for him, we signed him from there so they know Gnabry and will play him regularly.

So, been away from the forums for a few weeks.

Looking like Debuchy is coming. Solid right-back signing which doesn't "kill" Bellerin (or Jenkinson).

Alexis Sanchez looks promising, too.

If we could get these two, and sign Khedira and a back-up keeper, in addition to getting Campbell back from loan and Walcott back from injury, it will have been a fine transfer window.

Not sure I see another forward coming in. Think if we sign Alexis, Wenger might go with Giroud, Walcott, Podolski, Campbell and Alexis as forward options.

Southampton reject £20m bid from Liverpool for Lovren who was very open about wanting to join them. They supposedly want £25m.

I don't think we're that interested in going that high when we were linked with a £30m bid for both him and Schneiderlin.

**** Lovren, the real problem is they won't let Schneiderlin leave either, they've sold 3 first team players already for what... £60m? I think they are done with selling, unless a ridiculously high bid comes for one of their players. He has also said he won't force a move like Lovren is doing so Schneiderlin's price will be even higher. They plan to make him captain aswell.

Don't think we'll sign him but Khedira for €20m is becoming more of a possibility everyday.

Barcelona want to wait for Juve to match Arsenal's £34m bid according to the Daily Mail. Juve would need to sell Vidal/Pogba to make it work.
