Destiny came up for pre loading on Xbox one, then got taken down again before I got start downloading it, and customer service is telling me the game won't be available for pre load until the 6th, 3 days before Destiny comes out.

Someone at MS obviously got too excited and pulled the trigger before he was supposed to, some people managed to fully download the game before the option to pre load it was removed though.

Ah well, at least MS is looking out for us digital buyers by making sure we can actually play the game on release day, instead of spending the whole 9th of Spetember staring at our TV screens because the game is taking ages to download due to a large amount of people overloading Live trying to get onto playing Destiny.

Normally I would just order a retail version, but I have a new rule this gen, online only games are digital purchase only. Buying retail versions of games like The Crew, The Division, Titanfall, Destiny etc is pointless, when all you need is the internet and not the disk.

Thankfully, due to MS's kindness is getting rid of region locked games, I can just switch over the the US marketplace and buy my digital games for much cheaper then I can get them on the UK marketplace and even cheaper than I would get them in places like Shopto and Amazon.

What kind of Publishing Moron is selling both Metro games on PS4 for 25 quid ?

I know they are basically two PS3 games with a TLOU style upgrade but both are very highly praised and 25 for both seems ridiculous to me.

Hey I ain't complaining, I'll definitely pick it up when I get a PS4 but that seems ridiculously cheap to me.

4A games have priced the remasters at the price the rest of them should be, paying full price for the same games we played on the 360(Metro 2033 never came out for the PS3) is bullshit, not matter how critically acclaimed the games are.

The games are damned good mind you, and you are getting two games for the price of one, so they would have been much more justified than Square Enix and Naughty Dog were at charging their remasters at full price.

I was thinking of picking up the Redux, but I've already played through the games numerous times on the 360 and buying them again just for graphical updates isn't really worth it. I'll probably pick it up once the Redux reaches £10 on Amazon mind you.

It's good that more people get the opportunity to play these amazing games, despite so much praise they are still very niche and not all that popular. I pretty much had to bully my entire friends list into buying the first game

I do agree on full price being bullshit but two games for 25? Seems unusually cheap to me.

Not as ridiculously cheap as the new mario kart dlc is mind but still I was very surprised when I saw it.

Amazon in the past week seems to have reduced the prices for all their upcoming games by around £5 each, I don't know if it's a temporary thing, but it may be the first signs of next gen tax finally getting the F out.

When you do pick up the games though, play them in Russian with English subs. The English voice acting is complete shit, and it completely took me out of the game the first time I played through Metro 2033, the VA's all sound like they're reading off a script, with those fake Russian accents of their's .

No emotion, no effort, nothing. I don't even why, but Eastern European made games always seem to have shitty English voice acting, I don't know why they even bother adding it in

Step 3) Send back your traded games along with the completed trade form in the provided envelope.

Step 4) Once your 2 trades are successfully received we will update your billing price and ship your pre-order to you for launch day.


2 minutes to do all that?

2 minutes for all the online stuff.

Then 2 minutes to put games in an envelope and post it through a letterbox. So 4 minutes altogether.

It's worth it imo.

It actually was a non-European version of the game.

Think I saw a £35 deal somewhere for FIFA 15.

Around £38 here.
