I don't think he starts. Due to injuries van Gaal already has to give a debut to Blind, Rojo and maybe Shaw but he's not 100% fit. Herrera and Di Maria still haven't played a lot with the team either. Today, Liverpool struggled by trying to play too many new signings together. So van Gaal might not want to make too many changes. I think Falcao comes off the bench.

It also gives him an excuse for now, he doesn't have to bench Mata, RvP or Rooney yet if he uses Falcao off the bench.  

But this only my opinion that he won't start. Falcao has said he is fit.

Is Herrera fit for tomorrow?

Yeah, him and Rafael started for us in an indoor match. LvG also didn't mention him as one of the injured players in his press conference.

Would have like to see Falcao start instead of the out of form RVP. No Shaw is a bit of a surprise since I thought he was fit to play. Looks like it will be Blackett and Evans in the middle and Rojo on the left.

Absolutely. Love the fact that those 2 are nowhere near the team, especially Young.

LvG said Shaw is not fit to play 90 mins, so it was either start him and take him off, or bring him on later on. I think it's better to bring him, on just in case we might get a few injuries then we can't take him off.

Exactly. absolutely ridiculous the amount of criticism we got about 'losing our identity' just because we got rid of Cleverely and Welbeck, 2 players who weren't good enough at the club.

We give more chances to youth than any of the other top 4 clubs in the league

Yep, it's all well and good to have youth players, but when it's at the cost of quality then it's not right.

Should have bought a CM a long time ago, instead of going on with Cleverley. Even the Welbeck decision was right, just selling him to a rival was the stupid part.
