Real Madrid officially relegated
... Real Madrid Castilla that is. Going down from the 2nd division.
(last 4 getting relegated)
Mehdrid youth.
At least something positive this season.

Re: Real Madrid officially relegated
The relegation of Castilla means Real Madrid C are also getting relegated from 2B as 2 teams from the same club aren't allowed in the same division.

This is news..
Lol, well thats what happens when the core of your team is promoted or sold without proper replacement.

Screwed by an offside goal. Typical day in Segunda for our boys I have lost count of how many times we have been screwed over by the reffs. fck them

Unfortunately Castilla didn't get the reinforcements needed to stay up but we have a good group that will be promoted soon so hopefully they will bounce back up next year.

Re: Real Madrid officially relegated
Could go back in segunda division at the end of the week since Tebas said he would relegate both Murcia and Zaragoza if they cant address their debt situation, 45 mil and 100 mil respectively.
There was no way zidane would have ever coached in 3rd division

Re: Real Madrid officially relegated
Deadline is tomorrow . Zaragoza are 100 ME in debt and Murcia 45 ME. Even if one of them manage to pay their debt we will still be promoted because we finished highest of the relegated teams. I have good feelingd about this one

Good that Zidane will get a chance to WIN the Segunda... And NOT get promoted

Well, luckily Castilla didn't get unfairly auto-promoted to the Segunda and Zidane is so far bottom of the table in the 3th division.

We are better than Barca and it shows when we play against them. We are unlucky, either it's the reff screwing us over or we get punished on a set piece after spending a whole game missing chances. I bet if we played Barca B now we'd still win, so get off your high horses pls

So unlucky that you've gotten relegated and currently sit bottom?
Seems like more than luck, to me.
Also, Stoke beat City last week, does that make them better than City?
No.

Re: Real Madrid officially relegated
We always beat them apart from flukes like the games you mentioned
We were a game from staying up last season only for the reff to screw us over as usual. If I had to count games we have been screw by the reffs it'd easily reach 10 different games last season. As for the chances we don't have prolific guy like Jese anymore so we are bearing the burden on that front. We are playing good but the chances aren't going in and we have problems with set pieces
Our C team finished in the top7 in this league ffs you think Castilla are somehow worse than them oh and FYI our C haven't won any of their games either in the fourth tier lol. Just cuz we haven't managed to turn chances into goals does not mean we are poor

Re: Real Madrid officially relegated
You guys do realize that 6 of the 11 starters are injured + we lost the entire squad of 23 from 2 years ago. Nobody's left. No signings of note either.
Having watched all 3 castilla games... they've played actually well and look attractive. BUT, they have absolutely crap talent in midfield and the attack other than Burgui since Benavente and Markannen are both injured + De Thomas is awful (missed a PK yday and it was a shat one).
So it comes down to this: Castilla don't have the talent to get results AND play expansive offensive football. Too young and too raw. So what does Zidane do? Is he judged on results.... so he has to play a very pragmatic (defensive) style to get those right now? Or is it about developing players into a specific style regardless of the results in the short term?
3 1-goal games btw... and Castilla was the better team in all 3. Finishing was just very poor.

So Norwich is a good team in your book too, Since they couldn't finish to save themselves last season?halamadrid2 wrote:We always beat them apart from flukes like the games you mentioned

Yet they're better than Barca B, Ok.

This is completely normal. Montoya, Bartra, Muniesa, Sergi Roberto, Rafinha, Tello, Cuenca, Deulofeu, Luis Alberto, Araujo, Espinosa, Masip ... None of them play for Barca B anymore either. Barca B average age: 19.8. It's the youngest team in the Segunda by far. The next youngest team is Sporting Gijon with 25.2. Almost the entire squad got recently promoted from the lower ranks.
I've also watched Castilla last season. They were crap beyond belief. They had a chance to stay up in the Segunda in their last game of the season if they had won. Apart from set pieces they didn't create anything at all in a do-or-die game. Complete cluelessness in all areas. This is what I wrote in the Barca section after watching Castilla's "relegation fight":
Have to admit I appreciate our talents even more now after watching Real Madrid Castilla yesterday. They were spectacularly awful. Didn't muster any meaningful attack together in a do-or-die game apart from set pieces (which Murcia were defending awfully).
