Well , Milan hasn't officialy confirmed anything yet. We should wait for Milan's part of the confirmation .

He came as a free agent and had a contract for 2 years. There was a clause in it that if we failed to make the CL , he would be allowed to leave in the summer for free. And that's probably what's happening , but once again , without saying i reject the news , we better wait for Milan's part.

Kaka was supposed to have a deadline up to Jule 9 i believe , it's somewhat weird that this came out so soon . Keep in mind that Kaka was rumoured to have personal issues with his wife , who wants to go back in Brazil or something like that.

If Kaka has trully moved , it is almost 99% because of this . And frankly , i am not even sad if he left for that reason

Giallorossi sporting director Walter Sabatini met with his Fiorentina counterpart Daniele Pradé in Milan two days ago to talk about Juan Guillermo Cuadrado as Radio Manà Manà Sport revealed.

Cuadrado's agent met Bayern Munich to begin negotiations, according to Sky Italia. There are meetings set for next week with Arsenal and Barcelona.

It's a bit desperate from the newcomers Orlando City. Kaka doesn't come cheap with his wages and they're willing just like that to let a 32-year-old player grow a year older on loan while hoping he'll be motivated and in shape to be what they're paying for him. It's a bad piece of business, imo.

I think its a good move, imo.

The money isn't really an issue. They seem to be a pretty wealthy ownership and in MLS you can only pay 3 players more than 400k per year. And the cap is $3.1, but regardless of the players wages, it only counts as 400k.. So a player that makes 500k or 20m a year, cap wise doesn't really make much of a difference

For a new club that is trying to promote itself, its good for them to at least land a big name to help market themselves. That might even be a little more important than just immediate short terms results. Beckham made massive waves and made the Galaxy a huge household name even though in his first two years, especially 08, when they were probably the worst team in the league and he didn't really do all that much for them. What they were paying becks was probably worth it just for the exposure alone. Imo his best seasons for the galaxy were the last few when he really made more impact that resulted in them winning two MLS cups.

Their other two DP spots will likely be for less "star power" names, but I think this is fine for them as a "welcome to the league" type of signing, in a sense.

Agreed. Seems like a move motivated by publicity rather than football. I'd love to see Kaka in full flow but I have a feeling he's not going to perform/settle well due to age, fitness, and other concerns.

Liverpool are interested in Alexis Sanchez, according to Sky Italia. Barcelona could join Real Madrid in the race for Suarez, meaning Sanchez could be an important factor for a potential deal.

Signing any aging player comes with concerns, but we have a wealthy ownership group and if they are not worried about taking on the wages than I am not worried about taking on the wages.

Overall, I think this is a fantastic signing given that he fits into the style of play we are teaching at our academy and through the first team which I think is very important because it is a signing meant to improve what we already do and not just a signing to sell tickets with no thought to the end product.

I have heard that we will likely only pursue one more designated player, likely Robinho, as it looks like we are taking Brek Shea "on loan" from Stoke in a deal much like of Julio Cesar to Toronto FC which makes sense given that our ownership group come from Stoke and one of our executives is Shea's former agent.
