We just bought Vallejo,the most promising spanish defender and one of the most promising young defenders world-wide. Now we just need to get Dani Ceballos who people say that he's a carbon copy of Xavi.We already got Asensio. With that we would have 3 of the most promising players in Spain, and players who were the best players in this years U19 cup. RM could dominate Spain NT in the future. We would have these 3,De Gea, Ramos, Carvajal, Isco, Jese , Morata if we buy him back etc.

Vallejo was the star of U19 team which won the Euros. Not surprised to see him being snapped.

Exactly. Rotation is key to success and I'm not suggesting a different starting XI every game but having quality on the bench during crunch time is critical.

Remember last season when everyone decided to get hurt and our bench was a joke to look at.

what about the squad size?

there are too many players as it stands.

24 players is enough no excuse for fatigue in any position, more than enough game time to sort pecking orders outside the starting xi + isco and danilo, hopefully coentrao plays or leave, and jese improves a bit the team is set.

You literally wanted Coentrao gone though. Be careful what you wish for?

Shame for Coentrao, if it weren't for constant injuries he'd be our starting full back imo. Instrumental in our CL run.

I think they believe Jesse can be that backup guy like he was 2 years ago... it's worth a shot tbh. There aren't good backup guys around.

Cheryshev should leave Real, sad to see a talented footballer being held back. He isn't even making the squad. Really thought he would have a role to play this season.

Any word on how Lucas Silva has been playing? He had a good preseason, haven't seen much ligue 1 games. Saw some highlights of him, he looked good.

Wouldn't mind seeing a double Brazilian double pivot of him and casemiro. Madrid need it, the midfield is as soft as hard boiled eggs.

One of Ronaldo or Bale needs to go, it seems the team can't function with both in the team.

Denis is sure to leave, possibly on loan and likely to Valencia. However who knows if it will be January or July and there is the wrinkle that Valencia now is looking for a new coach which may change their constant pursuit of Denis.

As to Lucas Silva, sorry but no room for him. We are only allowed 3 non EU players and James, Casemiro and Navas use up those spots. Only way Silva comes back id if one of them leaves.

As to Ronaldo and Bale leaving, we can only hope, but I'd wager as long as Perez is in charge, Bale stays. It is possible that next summer both Ronaldo and Benz may go. Actually it sure looks like Benz days are numbered given his complicity in blackmail and it seems as Benitez and Flo are easing away from him.

Yea, I agree that Perez's ego is too big for him to sell one of his marquee signings, especially the most expensive one.

I am a Ronaldo fan and I would like him to stay, but he would need to adapt to life in a different position or role. he isn't playing well as either a left forward or striker. the right wing is where he should be.

The team needs someone with an x factor, at the moment there no one in the team who can take on a defender. No one in that forward line has that unpredictably about them.

Coupled with that, benitez's tactics and overall style of play is so predictable and boring.

The question remains will Ronaldo change to help the team? If the answer is no then why is he still here/why should he still be here?

Anyone watched Ruben Neves from Porto much? Shows great intelligence for his age. Looks like a Busquets/Alonso hybrid. Also another client of Jorge Mendes.
