Remember the last time herrera started a match, he scored the winner and lvg himself praised him for his goal and in the next match, woosh gone, nowhere to be seen.

but what he is saying, Is it fully legit? I mean you can easily keep possession in your half and still punt in balls forward when you want to attack. 60 % ball possession was obvious especially since they scored first, it was evident that they would just sit back and defend deep.

TBH. van Gaal uses positional play and bar RVP I think our team is too clueless to understand it. My problem with him is that he is to horizontal with the balls. Hopefully we improve more and more.

He started Herrera (who proved today just how baffling it was to drop him in the first place), so I applaud him for that. Played the diamond- fair play, Louis.


But.... again he seems to underestimate the opponents by selecting a player who looks woeful and then resorting to rectifying it at half time. Mcnair was awful and didn't make sense why he was chosen ahead of Valencia.

RVP completes another undeserved 90 mins despite looking rusty and bad. Subs off Di Maria instead when he could have subbed rvp off for Young and just stick Fellaini and Rooney up front, then use the sub of shaw for Mata.

Seems to constantly shoot himself on the foot with his starting 11. Doesn't have a clue on what's his best 11 despite being in the job 7 months.

Am I the only one who seems to think Van Gaal is way over his head here at Utd.  His not the one to take you forward in my opinion and should Utd not finish top 4 he has to go
