Diego Costa apparently regrets signing Chelsea contract according to Cope and El Confidencial. He would have to pay a penalty to get out of it. Atletico Madrid want to offer him a pay rise.

@bbcsport_david: Tom Ince finalising personal terms on Inter move. Also offers from Monaco/Olympiakos/Benfica. Back in UK after 2 days of talks #bbcsportsday
Strange move, considering he could barely get into Palace's first team.

Sky sources understand that Bacary Sagna has officially communicated to Arsenal that he has turned down their contract offer and will be leaving the Premier League club.
The 31-year-old revealed earlier in the week he was 90 per cent certain to be moving on, but he has now confirmed in writing to the Gunners that he has turned down their offer of a contract extension.
Sagna's current deal is due to expire at the end of June, after which point he will be free to sign for another club.
Arsenal had offered Sagna a two-year extension, but the France international has opted to end his Gunners career after seven years at the Emirates.
Sky sources understand that Manchester City and a number of top clubs in Europe have expressed an interest in taking the France international defender.
It is understood Sagna would ideally want his future resolving before the World Cup finals kick off next month.

English and German clubs involved over a Spanish player. Yes a French magazine is very reliable.

France Football are about as reliable as Daily Mail.
They are just a news hub, nothing they have ever said from their own "sources" has ever turned out to be true.
Still remember those Debuchy to Madrid done deal reports from them

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
A french paper can just as easily hear about stuff that does not involve French clubs from other sources, agents and other people involved in transfers.
That said I don't know anything about France Football.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
It was near end of the summer before we bought him.... we haggled all summer with Lille for a price and near the end ( suppose they wanted hits on their website)
They said Debuchy is going to join Madrid for 10m euros, i actually remember discussing it on here in one of the old threads.... never happened and he we signed him in January.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Paris Saint Germain centre-back, Marquinhos has made his future intentions loud and clear following a week of speculation linking him to Barcelona, stating that his desire is to leave the Ligue 1 champions for Barcelona this summer.
In an interview with Catalan radio station, RAC1, Marquinhos stressed that PSG aren’t nearly at the same level as Barcelona and that his desire is to play at the Camp Nou.
“My desire is to play for Barça. I want to play for Barça, not for PSG. Barça is better than PSG, they’re a great team, and it’s my dream to play there next season.”
Marquinhos went on to add that his Brazilian compatriot, Neymar has also fueled his desire to make the move to Barcelona.
“They’re a big club, with a very good style of play and Neymar has told me that he lives very well in Barcelona.”

Yeah, although I have to say I was surprised Pulis didn't give him more chances. Probably wasn't satisfied with his defensive work rate or something.
Anyway, would be very interesting to see how he does at Inter. Also sort of refreshing to have an English player move abroad to one of the big-4 continental leagues. I suppose Joe Cole's Lille loan was the last time it happened.

I agree. Not many of our players are prepared to take the chance and move overseas. In part I think because they'd rather drop down a division than try their hand on the continent.
