For once the fans behaved like fans. There was genuine shock at Seth Rollins' betrayal, no smarky shit or anything. This the best swerve WWE did in a while.

Wasn't really a shock to me. I was expecting a shield member to join Evolution when the feud first started. But it's a good swerve overall though.

Well if you ask me the shield had more mileage in them, but they had to be broken up at one point and i rather see this swerve than the WWE running out of ideas and screwing them with their ingenious creative. The Shield started big and ended big and will probably go down as one of the top 5 factions in history. A reunion a few years down the line will be epic.

We've noted that Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight Title was not penciled in for SummerSlam but there was one idea going where Lesnar would win the title at SummerSlam, only to see Money In the Bank winner Cesaro cash in and take the title from Lesnar.

Obviously everything is up in the air with Bryan's status for Money In the Bank on June 29th but word this week is that Bryan vs. Lesnar is indeed one of the long-term plans right now for a SummerSlam main event.

The Lesnar vs. Cesaro feud, which would be part of Cesaro's babyface turn, would take place after the Bryan match at SummerSlam.

There are people within WWE who believe that while it appears Erick Rowan and Luke Harper are due for a run with the WWE Tag Team Titles, they won't win the belts after all.

The talk is that WWE will be bringing up NXT Tag Team Champions Konnor and Viktor, The Ascension, soon. There's a feeling that The Usos will keep the titles until The Ascension arrives.

We noted before that Rey Mysterio, who is dealing with a hand injury, recently had his WWE contract renewed by Vince McMahon for one more year, even though there was no option period for one year in Rey's contract.

This was done because WWE contracts can be frozen in the event of an injury.
Apparently there is more to the situation than Rey's deal simply being renewed for another year and there's a potential legal situation that has yet to play out. Rey was actually looking at leaving when his contract expired a month ago when Vince renewed it for another year.

Rey is still listed on WWE's injury list and there's been no talk about when he might be back.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was backstage at RAW in Indianapolis this week. The rehabilitation of his right arm is reportedly going slower than they anticipated.

One person close to Bryan said that not only is he not making gains but he’s actually losing strength in his arm while doing rehab. Bryan’s condition was a hot topic among those in power at RAW.

It’s said that the angle with Seth Rollins turning on The Shield at RAW was officially decided upon on Sunday afternoon before the Payback pay-per-view. The angle was apparently Vince McMahon’s reaction to the low RAW rating the week before.

It’s said that when The Undertaker has been asked if he’s coming back for WrestleMania 31 after the brutal match at WrestleMania XXX and the other injuries he’s had, he’s said in the last week or two that it’s not looking good. Taker has been back in the gym working out.

Regarding Sting's status with WWE, The Wrestling Observer noted that word came out this week that the deal that WWE offered him ultimately ended up being similar to the standard $10,000 Legends contract without any other guarantees.

Talks between the two sides were going very smoothly and it's said that they are still in negotiations.
