He's the next Gervais. Chelsea will get tired of him and ship him out to Ligue 1 or Serie A or something.

He was good in marseille for three seasons, he didnt suit wolfsburgs style and he was treated poorly. He still played good whenever he did play.
Aboutrika? You mean the player who never set foor in europe? who dominated pub league players in egypt? Yeah, hes good
In b4viva talking about the 4-0 loss
Salah is still a beast though. And he's way better then aboutrika.

Gotta show more respect for what Aboutrika did on AFCON, aka the place where it mattered the most.

Henderson, Leiva, Gerrard, Coutinho, Sturrdige are better than him man. He's on the same level with Sterling imo.

^ Sterling has 10 times more game intelligence than this road runner . Sterling is Reus-esque in style whereas Salah is more of a Aubomayeng

Around 250 mins of Premier League football under his belt, most of which has been against poverty opposition, and he's better than everyone except Suarez.

Yep.
When Sterling scores his customary goal against big teams, and Salah warms the bench for 70 minutes, before coming on and getting "FLANNO'D" after a rough tackle

Re: How high is Mohamed Salah's Potential?
Personally, I have no idea, he has all the traits he needs to be fantastic. He has to put them together though.
One thing that does worry me is that he relies on speed so much, he is one serious injury away from being an average player tbh.

One of the few posts that has actually cut to the core of the issue thus far instead. His movement and skill on the ball are already excellent and he links up well with his teammates, however he's far too profligate to be considered a top player at this stage, a flaw that often frustrated anyone watching Basel's recent Europa League campaigns. He is in the hands of an excellent manager however who will know how to get the best out of him as a counter-attacking weapon. As Kick mentioned, an over-reliance on speed may prove to be an issue, however it is an accusation that can be levelled at many players who continue to be a success. I personally feel that his finishing isn't going to improve dramatically, however it's only natural that it is a facet of his game that will improve with time. He's certainly an astute pick-up on Chelsea's part.

Re: How high is Mohamed Salah's Potential?
Very high.
Anyone who's watched FC Basel for a period of two plus years will lay testament to the talent of Salah, to which without a doubt is one for a future world class player. The combination of skill and ability to use it in high velocities is thoroughly effective versus any team. He's performed in the Swiss League and numerous times in Europe as its only a matter of time before he settles in London and performs.
His biggest problem has always been his finishing. I cannot stress how poor of a finisher he is and always has been. Pace is his primary asset yet can be evolved upon as Theo Walcott has, who's pace also is his prime asset.
