Anyways, the Chelsea game will be hell of a game. It will be interesting how Mou manages the Atletico fixture and Liverpool fixture, specially the line ups. I think it will depend upon lot of factors, one of them will be what result Chelsea will get in the away fixture against Atletico.
Matci and Salah will be fresh for you guys so no worries there. I think the lAtletico game is being overblown a bit. He has enough squad depth.
That wouldn't be a problem if it was purely just squad depth. Match preparation is huge imo, Rodgers has a whole week with his squad to work on their game against us, at best Mourinho has 2/3 days. Liverpool massive favourites in the game when you take into account momentum, home stadium, preparation and you can't rotate the entire squad, some will be tired.
Thats what football is all about. Who cares? Thats what United has been doing for over a decade. Thats what big teams do. Ateletico have it harder than Chelsea yet they arent using any excuses. They have a weaker squad and playing in a tougher league against two superior teams that would walk the EPL. No complaints yet. All Mourinhos teams are used to this so I see no problem.

It's a fact of life but it obviously gives liverpool an advantage. What does barca/real have to do with anything? Saying they'd walk the league is just spouting pure drivel that can't be backed up or disproved.

My point is Atletico are in a similar situation but noone is complaining. This tired excuse should just not be used. Chelsea will still win the game IMO. They will certainly score against that Pool team but I' not sure Pool can breach your defensive set up.

Yeah we have a reputation to keep up though, otherwise people won't have a reason to hate us. Depends on if Sturridge is back for me, the pace those guys break away at is insane, if Matic and co can keep them out first half then it's ours to lose.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V11
if you can keep us quiet for the first 20-30 min, you should be able to draw at least, keeping it 0-0. I have a feeling that we might draw this match but I can see City dropping points against everton. I hope, Everton, before they face City, the condition should be do or die for them for that CL qual

We dont have Sturridge or Henderson for the rest of the season now. That means Allen and probably Lucas come into the 11. Which kinda deteriorates us at-least 1-2 goals a game.
yeah im talking goals now

Nishank in making up news and being pessimistic shocker . We scored 20 goals in 7 games that Sturrudge missed in Decbember, we've got this . Reading red cafe, some posts here and other opposition forums,
You'd imagine Mourinho has NEVER lost a big game in his entire career the way people are sure of Chelsea getting something at Anfield . Well, the worst night of Mourinho's career was at Anfield (according to himself), so a repeat would be nice .

Sturridge fit for Norwich according to LFC website .
Him and Suarez has been out of sorts for the last 2 games, but hopefully saving their very best for Chelsea game. Good, I was worried that Aspas or Moses might get a start during the run-in

Liverpool spent over 650 Millions, EPL Titles = 0
If you win it this year, wont be extraordinary, considering how much hard you have tried.

At least this time Adam Johnson plays..
I remind when Poyet left him on bench because he had to park the bus

Who tries harder, Liverpool at winning the league, or Highburied at bitching about it?

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V11
Right, a title victory that shattered a number of records and that no-one predicted at the start of the season certainly wouldn't be extraordinary at all because of spending that consists largely of money spent 5 or 10 or more years ago on players who aren't even playing at the club anymore. That makes complete sense.Highburied wrote:

Well, that didn't take long.
City 1-0 Sunderland
Fernandinho gives them the lead in under 3 minutes.

Not sure you can call it "flopping" when Crystal Palace have already taken bigger scalps than theirs this season...
