oh then we would take itWinter is Coming wrote:BarrileteCosmico wrote:assuming barca beat atleti they would have beat Madrid twice and atleti once. Atleti would have beat Madrid twice and Barça once. Madrid would have beat no one, so they're disqualified. Since Barça and Atletico would both have 9 points from 12 possible the next decider is goal difference. If that's the same it the goes to goals scored.urbaNRoots wrote:If Atletico, Real and Barça all end up with 89 points, who wins the league?
Atleti has't beaten us the first game ended 0-0. And Atleti have one win and draw against RM.

If Atletico wins nxt week against Malaga, the title is theirs. Barca gave up a long time ago.

Re: La Liga 2013/14 Discussion Mk. 3
Detailing Carlo's Master plan for the league:
Assuming Madrid won this match, and all teams win their next matches; then the Point Tally would be:
-91: Atleti
-91: Madrid
-88: Barca
Barca's only hope for the title would be beating Atleti and Madrid loosing, a highly risky chance. In all accounts, Barca would like to throw the match to hand Atleti the win.
However, by Drawing this match, the league table becomes (Assuming all win their next matches):
-91: Atleti
-89: Madrid
-88: Barca
Now, Barca wins if they beat Atleti and Madrid fails to win, a much more likely scenario than asking Madrid to lose. With Barca being able to win it, I Think they will try for it in the second scenario when they wouldn't have in the first.
Carlo knew this, therefore his tactical masterplan
I don't actually believe this was intentional by Carlo , but it does give Madrid the same chance of winning the league than winning imo.

when is the last time barca beat atletico? and their form now is worse than it's ever been this season, it's done. Unless Atletico fail to win at malaga, this is over.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think a win at Calderón and a draw in Camp Nou would suffice for Atlético to win the league regardless of what happens in the other matches.Ganso wrote:Cr's goal have won Madrid the league.Ateltico will have to win Malaga and at the Camp Nou to win the league

Madrid still have three games tho if they win all three they'll be at 92 at the end, while we are at 88 and Atleti at 91, before the final between the two, if we beat Atleti we go to 91 and Atleti stay, so in other words Atleti need a draw or a win against us and the league is theres.

On the last matchday all the games will be played at the same time. That will be a big factor.

I think we will have the title decided next matchday and not on the final one. Both Madrid and Barca have high possibilities of choking I predict madrid to drop points vs Celta and Barca to drop points vs Elche

Wouldn't Barca try their best to win given that they only need Madrid to fail to win?
Anyway you look at it, it depends on Barca. They could either hand the title to any of the Madrid teams, or potentially steal the title from Under their noses provided Espanyol does them a favor.

That Madrid match against Espanyol on the last day is already a forgone conclusion. With that in mind, will Barca give it their all against Atletico? I highly doubt it.

Re: La Liga 2013/14 Discussion Mk. 3
Do you guys really think that Barca would try to win Atletico in the last match if R.Madrid was atleast 1 point ahead of Barca? I think Barca would rather be 3rd and let Atletico win La-liga instead of being 2nd and let R.madrid win the league. But If Barca were atleast even on points with Real before the last match-up, then they would try to win.
But R.Madrid's title is far away. Away match against Valladolid which has lots in stake, and also Celta which has been in great form recently.
So all Atletico needs to do is to atleast draw Malaga, because Barca will rather lose the last match than let the white shirts lift the liga title.
So in the end it's now all up to Real madrid. My percentages for title
Atletico 70% , Barca 15%, Real 15%

Of course Barcelona will give their all, they still have a chance if they win their remaining games.
The problem is, I can't see Atletico losing to Barça even if they play their hearts out

If Real Madrid win their next two games, Barca got nothing to play for. We will probably see Pinto try to dribble the whole Atletico team on the last day.

No lol RM have three games remaining so thats 9 points and will bring them up to 92 from 83. Barcelona has 2 games and if they win both that will bring them up to 91 from 85.
Madrid didn't play game before the first leg against Bayern Munich, after mid week the CdR final.
