Home v Palace
Away v Newcastle
Away v Stoke
Home v Villa
Home v Everton
Away v Fulham
Away v Soton
Away v ManU x3
Away v West Ham x2
Of those, I remember Villa and one of the ManU ones being controversial... There have also been a number of times we've deserved penalties and not gotten them. Doesn't seem to be the result of any favoritism or ref bias to me, actually seems like the tally is pretty fair and reflective of play.

Longest winning streak in PL is 14 set by Arsenal in that unbeaten season. Liverpool's longest winning streak is 11 in PL set by Rafa's Reds in 2005-06.

I need to check my emotions when it comes to Liverpool as to not offend the LFC fans on this forum (who are all sound).
But the mere thought of Liverpool winning the title this season will further compound what a sh*t season this has been for us Utd fans.
Nightmare.

"It's because we attack more". Give it a rest.
Even Chelsea 09-10 or Arsenal 03-04 didn't get as many penalties as this Liverpool team and the season isn't even over yet.
In the PL it usually has to be stonewall for it to be awarded. I don't even care that much it's just the victim complex and the constant moaning about officiating that pisses everyone off. I mean look at the outrage from not only Scouse fans but commentators & pundits after Demel's goal was allowed and compare that to the reaction of Foy's performance at Villa Park.
The love-in is beyond sickening. If there truly is a God City will win the League.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V10
lmao Gil you sound so butthurt. That's not even your style.
If you go over the 12 penalties we've received this season, there are like 2 of them are questionable. And those questionable ones are because of refs incompetence. The one on Vidic was not a pen but Daniel was denied a clear one right after that. This one against West Ham is questionable but very fair since West Ham didn't deserve to be tied at 1-1 anyways with that terrible decision by the ref on their first goal with Carroll wrestling the ball from Migs grasp.
The fact that we got shafted out of a pen against Eto'o still stands. The fact that Sterling was a million miles onside at the Etihad still stands. The fact Eto'o wasn't sent off in the first 5 minutes still stands. The fact that Mirallas wasn't sent off in our 3-3 draw with Everton still stands. The fact that we were denied a clear pen against Soton in our 0-1 loss on Sturridge still stands.
Don't even make me bring the amount of times you guys have been helped by the refs. Every team gets calls for and against them, just the nature of the game. Looks like the only fans are complaining are you guys.

Yeah, we've had a number of penalties, but I wouldn't say we've been favoured by the refs. Could well bring up a few decisions Chelsea have had in their favour this season or why not the fact that City's 2nd goal against Southampton just this weekend was miles offside and until that Southampton were the better team in the game, but in the end these things tend to even out. It's my honest opinion that the penalties we've been granted have been legitimate, results of our attacking quality.

How come us receiving 12 penalties is controversial and favour from refs, yet Chelsea not having A SINGLE penalty against them is normal and totally fine ??
gotta love them double standards

Gil, do tell. Chelsea received 6 penalties this year. If it's not down to the style of the teams, that should be closer to even. So please explain: which 6 of our 12 would you argue shouldn't have been given?

Everton seems to have really taken up this challenge and are on fire, specially the stats of scoring three goals from last 4 gamesMcAgger wrote:Coleman

Arsenal should be really careful, they have very easy fixtures and I think they wont get out of top 4 but any relegation battling team can frustrate them on the day
Btw, Everton will surely give a tough time to City

I hope they do it once again, this result against Arsenal must have inspired them to a great extent. A coach like Martinez will surely try to win the matchJonathan28 wrote:Everton usually beat City at Goodison don't they?

That gif favours Flanno.
The keeper made contact with the ball BEFORE he iniatially made contact with Flanagan. Adrian then took Jon out after he made contact with the ball. It's a 50/50.

Not a penalty. Keeper get the ball first, Stuff that happens after that is almost as irrelevant as Chelsea fans talking about penalties.
