Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V10
Away from home, Moyes can use his reactive tactics at the full potential. Hence.

Any bets here on what time will the ref award Liverpool a penalty v City next week? I think the 43rd min, then at the 93rd min.

9 - Liverpool have won nine PL games in a row, the best run in the division since Man Utd recorded 11 in succession in 2008-09.

If you guys are so upset by the amount of penos we get, start a petition to remove them from the game, not our fault defenders can't handle themselves in the box.

Maybe a third penalty in between to ensure the win.

Getting penalties is a skill tbh
Their poverty teams don't know how to ask the right questions of the defenses.

Rodger's tactics
To bring in Lucas for Coutinho and completely change the game
His subs and tactics have been amazing this season

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V10
if Downing would have scored the 2-2 I can image the amounts of suicides by LFC fans
Today Sturridge and Coutinho not in match, while it's been the match of Sterling.
great personality.
About Suarez needless to say it, it was the usual Suarez
This was not a easy match for LFC, we all know the West Ham, a club who plays bad football but also for this reason it's difficult to meeet
It's the typical club who you never want to meet in certain matchs, because it's a bastard team who plays dirty, socks and parking the bus .
And you must win under pressure.
It was insidious match for Scousers considering also the former LFC playesr, and we know well how much can be dangerous the players who bear a grudge
And Andy Carroll played a great match, probably he didn't play so well since Newcastle, that crossbar still is shaking, and it was a sign of destiny.
two years ago that ball would have entered. Not today, today could not enter.
Hammers players does not have much to reproach, just Allardyce has it.
Replacing Nolan with Nocerino Palermo Legend to 68' was a choice really wrong. Coward. Allardyce-esque. and who is guilty of cowardice is often punished. As today.
MOTM : Suarez
Worst : the referee Anthony Taylor

Liverpool's win confirms that we will have a new champion - Manchester United can now no longer defend their title.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V10
Anyone complaining about the penalties would do well to
a) take a look at the decision again to see they were actually totally legitimate ones
b) keep in mind West Ham's sole goal which was a far more controversial refereeing decision and
c) note that Armero got away with TWO self-inflicted hand balls in the penalty area.
Three points, feels sweet.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V10
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: "There were bad decisions both for and against us. We were clearly the better team. The pitch was very dry, it wasn't watered which affects the speed of our game. That's the home team's choice. The first one was a clear penalty.
"In all fairness the referee came out after the game and said he got it wrong for their goal. That was their only shot on target. We then went to a diamond which gave us control and we created a lot of chances in the second half. You are under a lot of physical pressure here.
"Andy Carroll is the best in the air in Europe. I thought Martin Skrtel was brilliant to deal with that today. It was a foul by him for the West Ham goal though, the linesman gave a foul so it was disappointing to get a goal given.
"The second penalty was a penalty. Jon Flanagan touches it past the keeper, the keeper gets a slight touch on it but he then brings down Jon."
