Re: Congratulations to Chelsea on winning Premier League 2013/14
yeah it may be sad to finish second but it will still makes us proud that we reached here. Actually the most positive thing will be, because of the media hype and attention, it will be easy for us to attract top top talent/established player from all over the world...that was the one of the basic aim of the season in the start anyways

haha, the truth is you're getting so hyped up about winning the league right now that even finishing second, which is something you wouldn't have DREAMED of at the beginning of the season, will make you only sad
Isn't it what being a fan is about ? To dream? I think it's normal. And the team is getting hyped for the right reasons mate. We are breaking records left, right and center. This is a special team.
I am more amused by all opposition talks: "If they don't win it this year, they won't come close to it for years to come" , "They'll fade by Christmas" , "Just wait until they get injures" , "They are bigger bottlers than Arsenal", " Next season they won't even make top 4" , etc.
I'm enjoying the ride and am very confident. This team has bottle and character. Because it has 2 utterly natural winners in Gerrard and Suarez. Even if we don't win it this year, we'll challenge again next year with a stronger team, I have zero doubt.

Yeah, being a football fan is so often about disappointments or plain mid-table oblivion (inb4 jokes about Liverpool's past few seasons) that you should get excited, even over-excited, when your team gives reason for it. And that's coming from one of the more reserved LFC fan.

of course. I'm just *bleep*-ing with you.
Not meant to take away anything from the fact how very proud we all are of Liverpool, and of your corresponding posting

Was a close contest between Chelsea and Arsenal but Chelsea showed that extra bit of grit and steel towards the crucial run-in and ultimately deserve it more. Jill.
