Poor Henry. Beaten soundly, then vanishes into thin air so the Wyatts and SHIELD can have the spotlight

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
Below are some highlights from Steve Austin's recent podcast interview with John Cena:
* Cena says he feels great, turns 37 in April and still feels he can keep up with anyone who comes through the doors to wrestle for WWE.
* Cena said he wishes there was more motivational reinforcement from WWE officials. He admitted that WWE officials create a "walking on eggshells environment."
* Cena said WWE has a locker room full of very talented guys but also a locker room full of Superstars who are fearful for their jobs. Cena said some of them are not willing to take the next step.
* Cena feels WWE is on the cusp of getting a real all-star roster for the first time in a long time.
* Cena said WWE is moving towards more action and less talk.
* Cena talked about working with Cesaro at the Performance Center for a Muscle & Fitness shoot. Cena said he likes to get to know talents on a personal basis when WWE is ready to push them to the main event.

Cesaro is a very good in-ring worker
Needs to work on his Mic skills though, if he improves in that department (He's not exactly a monster heel, so having someboyd like Heyman beside him all the time would be strange) then he can be a future main eventer no doubt. At least a consistent challenger for the WHC or something along those lines.

Still think he's got a long way to go yet. Being good in the ring isn't really enough, he needs a character too. Best thing would be he splits up from Swagger and works on a gimmick.
Same with Reigns, except he just has the right look instead of in ring skills, but no character.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
Good prediction for next week's RAW:
Opening segment:
The previous night at EC Orton emerged victorious as the WWEWHC after finally eliminating Bryan due to shenanigans from The Authority. RAW opens with Lesnar & Heyman marching down to the ring. They demand to be inserted in to the title match at Mania. The lights go off and a gong is heard. Taker's music hits and he makes his return. He enters the ring, stares down Lesnar and looks up to the Mania sign, setting up their match at Mania.
Closing segment:
Throughout the night they are hyping the face-to-face confrontation between Orton & Batista. Triple H & Stephanie head down to the ring & officially announce that Orton vs Batista will headline Mania (*the crowd boos & begins a Daniel Bryan chant). Orton heads down to the ring followed by Batista. They have a stare down & cut a short promo (*the crowd is still booing and chanting for Bryan). All of a sudden Hogan's music hits & the crowd goes wild. He heads to the ring and announces that he is the official host for WrestleMania XXX. After saying how great it is to be back & that Hulkamania is gonna run wild in the WWE once again, he states that as his 1st act as official host he is changing the main event title match in to a triple-threat match (*the crowd goes crazy & begin a Yes! chant).
He says "It's gonna be the WWEWHC Randy Orton vs the 2014 Royal Rumble winner Batista vs this man..."
Hogan points to the stage and after a short pause Bryan's music hits and the crowd goes nuts as he leads them in a Yes! chant. He enters the ring, shakes Hogan's hand and stares down Orton & Batista as he continues to chant Yes! as the show goes off air.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
The Paul Heyman guy thing lost it's value when they put him with Ryback and Axel, if they put Cesaro wit Heyman it might back fire, especially that he isnt on the level of Lesnar and Punk. I love the slow build of this character, 2 years ago he was feuding with Santino, now he's in the main event of EC and beating Orton and running toe to toe with Cena. He might not be a main event guy but he will be a staple in the midcard (jake the snake and mr perfect were in the midcard) with an occasional push to the main event.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
Regarding the report that WWE had granted CM Punk his release on Friday, the rumors started backstage when Punk's girlfriend AJ Lee was given the weekend off. People were just speculating backstage that AJ left and that led to the Punk rumors starting up. AJ is still with the company and Punk has not been granted his release.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
USA Today has an article at this link about Daniel Bryan and the influence he's been having on mainstream sports.
Michigan State football player Travis Jackson, who got the chant going at halftime of the Ohio State-Michigan State basketball game last month, noted that it was a surreal experience to have the entire crowd doing the chant. Stephanie McMahon also discussed the popularity of the chant.
"Throughout WWE's history our Superstars and their catchphrases have often become part of the pop-culture lexicon, and Daniel Bryan's 'Yes!' chant is the latest example of this phenomenon," said Stephanie. "WWE is all about having fun, bringing people together and making them smile, and the Yes! Movement accomplishes all of this at WWE events and beyond."
Bryan added that there may also be another reason as to why WWE fans are so vocal with the chant.
"I feel like a lot of fans would like to see me with the heavyweight championship," said Bryan. "That's part of the reason they chant so strongly, which is really cool. They have the ability effect change."

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
Vince McMahon and Triple H were said to be very happy with Titus O'Neil's character development on Raw tonight.
A member of the WWE writing staff told WrestleZone this evening that Titus has been pitching "his heart out" to turn heel on Darren Young, and finally "pleaded with Vince McMahon" for a singles run as a heel.
Vince apparently told the writers "Titus O'Neil gets an opportunity, sink or swim" and was happy with Titus' growth as a character in his interview with Renee Young on Raw tonight.
For those who missed Raw tonight, Titus cut another promo during a backstage interview segment with Renee Young, during which he asked Young if she knew how to spell champion, and when she tried to spell it, he corrected her an noted it's spelled "T-i-t-u-s."

Saw a picture when reading about this, he had actually lost quite a lot of weight. Was still a good 350 lbs though. I actually thought he was way older than that. Must have been young when he started.
