Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
Cena vs Undertaker - 'I quit' match would be more interesting than a generic singles/no dq match. Undertaker wins after he threatens to chokeslam a kid.
Or a 3 stages of hell match, where Cena wins stage 2.

You dont watch Taker's matches for the result, you watch them for the sheer awesomeness of the ring work

That's why Bray benefits from having 2 classic monster heels acting as his muscle
Because even though he's obviously big, he's not of your Kane/Prime Taker mould.
His gimmick definitely works better with Harper & Rowan.

Bray Wyatt's only about 5f11/6ft I think and he's not really muscly, mostly just fat. Kane/Undertaker were billed at like 7ft at times.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
There is a lot of talk within WWE that Christian isn't expected to stick around once his current contract expires. At age 40, there's a feeling that WWE creative isn't going to do anything significant with Christian and he's just "playing out the string."

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
Regarding Chris Jericho's WWE future, there was some talk in late 2013 about bringing him back for the first few months of 2014 but apparently the issues that kept it from happening had to do with creative instead of financials.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
Think Bray is 6'2 at least. Much bigger than Bryan and not ridiculously smaller than Harper/Rowan
Point is he's not a standard 'monster' in terms of height, which is why him being in a stable rather than solo is great.

He's 6'3 285 pounds and he's only 26 so he has at least 10 year run in him.

MT's simply trying to undersell Bray to make Bryan look less of a midget. We aren't falling for it.

This lol.
Don't see why anyone cares about result anyway lol.
When I watched Takers matches against HBK and HHH I didn't care less about the result lol.
Or do u take it so seriously that the result matters more than life itself

One of the main reasons I love Undertaker's matches is because of his unique move set. No one can do what he can. Even after all these years.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
I disagree entirely about Undertaker WM match and not caring about the result. If I know who's going to win, I can't get emotionally attached to the match because I already know the result. Its like watching a football game after reading the result beforehand.
With Takers first match against HBK, I though "Well he is Mr Wrestlemania so maybe he has a chance". With his second match against Taker, it was "well, is HBK really going to retire? He might win". With Taker's WM27 match against HHH, well in that case I didn't think HHH had a chance in winning. But with WM28, I was thinking "they're not going to risk Taker losing to an up and comer just in case they leave, this is HHH's third attempt, and he is the bosses son-in-law and has a lot of pull, he might win". This meant that when Taker got hit with the SCM/pedigree combo, it was like "holy shit! this is it!".
I'm never going to get that feeling with Lesnar or Sting because there is no way in hell those guys are winning. With Cena, there is that very slight chance that he will end the streak. Its a small chance, but a chance none-the-less. So when there are false finishes, and Cena hits the third AA, i'm going to think "shit, this is it", and that is the best feeling of actually watching a match.
That is why it's quite clear to me that Cena should be Taker's WM opponent and I can't believe that they're not giving it to us this year.

When Cena counters the tombstone to the FU, there will be approximately 500 million heart attacks all around the world.
I fell out of my chair after the Sweet Chin Music-Pedigree combo. With Undertaker in Wrestlemania, you are guaranteed a 5 star match.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 10
Agreed with Silver mostly
I still enjoy the match, but when it's against somebody who's extremely high up in the company then there's that little doubt in your mind about who will win. That alone makes every single pinfall more exciting, every finisher more exciting etc etc.
No way will a part-timer such as Brock end the streak. And it's a waste of Brocks time because i'd rather every one of his very limited matches were not so easy to predict. Like when he fights Punk or Cena.

We noted before that it was a Vince McMahon decision to make changes to Big E and Cesaro's name this past week. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer adds that somebody within WWE thought "Antonio" sounded like the name of a guy who wasn't tough, and that's why he's just being called Cesaro now.

Yeh Orton's a jobber nowadays.
If he main events WM with Batista, it would be one of the worst WM main events in history, with the crowd showing their disapproval throughout the match. Bad for business.
