Is Messi going to win another Ballon d'Or?

So, the forum is knee-jerking a bit after Barcelona's home defeat to Valencia and Messi not exactly lighting up the stage since his return from injury. Coupled with C. Ronaldo putting an end to Messi's win streak of Ballon d'Ors, here's a poll to ask whether you think Messi will win the award again or not.

The point is to see what people reckon at this point in time and bump the thread up later when the answer has been provided to see whether the mighty and wise GL got it right or not

i think it makes more sense to make it halfway through the year atleast for speculation, not the first/second month.
haven't we learned from the last award that the beginning months barely even matter.. i mean a trophy less Ronaldo won it, because he scored 3 against Sweden the week of voting.

Of course he's going to win it again, he's 26 and about to enter his peak. Ronaldo is most likely on the way down, who else is going to compete against him in his peak?

I'm sure he'll win it again even if he doesn't win the WC or CL.

According to some here, he should have won it this year. So in order to do so for 2014, he has to get injured, get out of form, get knocked out of CDR, and lose again in the CL 7-0?

If that all happens again he has a great shot at winning it just like 2013.

Bring Ronaldo in, but personally I felt like it could have/should have been Ribery. Same as I felt in 2010 going to someone like Sneijder or at least someone from treble winning team or Spain winning their first World Cup.


But I'm merely stating the facts and logic that some are using to try and say Messi should have won it. If Messi recover his form and does what he normally does, which is magic, and has a semi decent World Cup I see no reason why he can't win it again.
