You keep saying this as though it's some big important revelation that completely invalidates my post... but it doesn't. It is, in fact, EXACTLY WHAT I WAS SAYING. We may have dropped points against "small" sides (though Sotton seems a bit of an odd inclusion there, given Arsenal dropped points to them and they were in the top 4 or so at the time we played them) but Arsenal are dropping points Liverpool haven't against "big" sides. And in matches that are, ostensibly, "6 pointers" unlike the matches against the "small" sides.

If we don't beat Fulham now I'm going to be so pissed off.
Fix our away form, get top 3. We won't win the league, no point going for it. Still think that should be our goal, but top 3 should be top priority. No f*cking around. Top 4 is fine and dandy, but it's not guaranteed CL. Get top 3 and we can get our targets early. It's a lot easier to sell a project to a player if you're already in the competition than to say "we just need to beat X and we're in".

Also, we've scored 22 goals from set pieces this season.
We've conceded like 30 goals this season. Half of those have felt like they were from set pieces... I don't know where I'm going with this.

Omg, Those gifs Arsenal are in for a tough run now....jesus... Well done to Liverpool, played the game perfectly perfectly and tactically just bossed Wenger.
Man C though omg, wtf, another 2 points dropped vs NORWICH!
I really dont want to see Mou come back to the EPL And just lifts the title straight away again, he would be soooooooooooooooo up himself, would take it to another level

Arsenal have been the most consistent team against scrub teams this season and this had been their biggest weakness in the previous years. But it is pretty evident that they don't have what it takes to beat big guns. I said that at the beginning of the season.
Definitely not the best team in EPL, but that's not how you win EPL.

well to be fair this is how 08-09 played out, liverpool kept beating the other top 4 teams but lost the title because man utd kept hammering away the relegation battlers

Good game so far, only player that doesn't seem to be on is Bentaleb. At this point I think it's just a matter of pride for Sherwood.
Poor Capoue, he deserves better than this.

Unless something drastic happens Everton have this in the bag. Spuds lack ideas up front and are just boring on the ball.

Yeah Dembele roaming in front of Paulinho and Bentaleb. Somebody like Capoue would have been great, they need some physicality.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V6
Everton had good chances early, but haven't done anything since the first 10 minutes. Since then it's been all Spurs. Eriksen had a good free kick and Adebayor missed a beautiful cross by Rose which should of been in the back of the net.
We are lined up in almost a 4-1-4-1. I would prefer we lose Bentaleb, put Capoue on and run a true 4/3/3.
I will give Sherwood this, even though he doesn't like to change the pieces, he is willing to tinker with our formations in order to hopefully gain an advantage.
As far as the crowd, I'm not sure what's up, it is bad though. We usually make more noise than the home fans when we travel, but today it's just golf course quiet.

Oh great, more English pundits talking about our "4/4/2" which we never actually ran. Just because you run 2 strikers doesn't mean it's a 4/4/2

I'm sure United fans would like the score to remain 0-0.
