Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V6
Coutinho will always be more of a creative player and is still best utilized on the left flank.
We need an attacking midfielder. We lack an attacking minded midfielder in this squad right now. Gerrard is playing deeper, Henderson and Allen are both box-to-box but lack goals (we need more goals from them too) and Lucas is our only defensive minded player.
So I'd like an attacking midfielder, preferably a goal scorer and a defensive midfielder to rival Lucas and we'll be set I think.

Don't forget we get Suso back, too.
Get a marquee attacking midfielder, that can pitch in with 10-15, and SAS automatically giving us 40+, we'll be alright.
Stoke have this one CM who's having a fine season and is their leading scorer, sank Manchester United with a brace just yesterday.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V6
While Johnson has come on for Sunderland as of late, the real MVP of the season has been Borini. He has been the most consistent performer on the team and the perfect compliment forward/wide option from the midfield for Altidore after he holds up the ball. Or a good option to overlap on the break and get out wide. His ability to exploit the wing and end up in the right position has been very good.
I think Liverpool would love to have him back given how versatile he is supporting the main forward and providing from the right and the left. Given you don't really have reliable options behind Sterling, Coutinho, and Sturridge and he can cover for all 3.

I'm not being funny, but Liverpool can actually compete for the title. If they win, which I think they will, they will only be one point behind Chelsea (who have City tomorrow).
Don't settle for just 4th, I think they can push for even higher than that.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V6
Sterling's been our best player so far, his acceleration just gives so much problems for defenders and draws so many fouls.
Also, hey, credit where it's due: The linesman did very well not to raise his flag. Sturridge was onside, but moved quickly a couple of yards forward with several players in between him and the linesman, but he correctly gave it as onside, resulting in our goal. Many times in such situations the flag goes up.

To solely blame it on Kolo, who's been dead average since he's been at the club after 2 of his opening games it must be said, would just be wrong.
The whole team was flat and played at 70% intensity today. We didn't deserve 3 points. Not when you perform like that.

Adam was actually decent at Liverpool, before he was made to play Lucas' position. (The one Gerrard is currently struggling to play right now despite what many Liverpool fans believe...)

I agree, I thought he was decent. His biggest faults were some stupid tackles and too many long balls, but he is playing with more maturity at Stoke now, is fitter, too. I'd certainly like to still have him at Liverpool, especially considering our lack of CMs, but oh well.

29 - Liverpool have made more defensive errors leading to a goal/attempt than any other team in the PL this season. Problem.
just to confirm as I said it above

Arsenal is the luckiest team out of all Prem League. Should have been atleast 2-1 in favor of Palace by now.
