YEah the degree of difficulty was massive in PG's dunk. One thing though he failed in his dunk was to get any power behin the dunk. If you remember Vince used to throw them down with unbelievable force and they were probably harder than what PG did.

I think just the pure force of a dunk makes 50% of the beauty of it.

You could see in his body language that he was nervous after missing the first 2 (technically 3) and I think he opted to take some power off it.

He was shit. Average dunk, and no emotion. Same with Mclemore. Even though he had a cool dunk he showed 0 emotion. This is why Magic and Dr.J said Wall brought back the dunk contest he had a nasty dunk and started dancing. It's exciting and engaging.

There's no bigger stage than New York next year, and Drake will probably try and talk him into doing it in Toronto in 2016.. I don't think people want to see a 30+ year old LeBron in a dunk contest though

It's not even about LeBron (hear where I'm gong with this). I just watched the Dunk contest on youtube and it looked lifeless and boring. The dunkers (except Wall) looked bored as hell. Having LeBron compete would hopefully get some of the dunkers up for the chance to kick his ass, maybe then we'd see some really good competition and less of the failed dunks we saw. Some actual emotion would be nice to fcking see.

They should go back to the 80's 90's format as well imo.

Yeah the format is shit, not enough dunks.. I liked the team warm up part but the rest was shit.. Maybe they could do that to decide which conference goes first like they did, but after the showdown, the 3 showdown winners go to a 1v1v1 showdown with 2/3 dunks each rated out of 10 for the contest winner??
