Cabaye getting his medical this afternoon. He's arrived in Paris. Deal done as reported earlier: 20 mil euros + 5 mil euros in bonuses.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
A swap deal involving Kevin Constant and Napoli's Pablo Armero is totally dependent on the AC Milan defender giving his consent to the move, according to the club's general manager Adriano Galliani.
The two clubs have agreed on a straight swap with Armero joining Milan and Constant Napoli until the end of the current season.
Armero has also agreed, but Constant still needs some convincing. "It's up to Constant," Galliani said at a news conference in Milan. "Milan and Napoli, and Armero agree. Constant has not agreed yet. I'm going to speak to him shortly."

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Who said Pogba is out? lol. Thiaggo Motta or Matuidi are the ones who are sweating this. They want to keep Matuidi... but if they are successful in buying Pogba in the summer, one of those two will go. Motta is my guess.
PSG rotates 5 midfielders anyhow. They play a starting 3 and then rotate 2 of them out in the next game (if everyone is healthy) since they play every 3-4 days. Given how midfield reliant Blanc's tactics are, you need a lot of them. Right now, they only have Pastore rotating in which is awful (Rabiot is hurt). They were desperate for midfield help given Rabiot's injury.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Former Roma president Rosella Sensi has criticised AC Milan, Inter, Juventus and her own ex-club's transfer business as she feels Serie A sides lure too many mediocre foreign players to Italy.
The 42-year-old, who resigned from her role at Roma in March 2011, feels Italian clubs generally miss out on the biggest foreign talents and then settle for sub-standard players from other European giants.
"Milan, Roma, Juventus and Inter have so many foreigners in their squads," she told Il Tempo.
"But all those who come to our country are third-rate foreigners.
"They are coming here just because they are being discarded by teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United.
"If we want to see the new [Lionel] Messi, he's going to be in Spain – whereas the reserve is coming to Italy."

Gazzetta dello Sport confirms this swap, it says Milan and QPR are treating for this
p.s. Sportmediaset definited him in that article " the Cristiano Ronaldo of Morocco " lol
and again according Gazzetta dello Sport Inter would have reached an agreement for Hernanes.
10 mln + Mbaye.
Now Guarin's agent should see Thohir for Juventus.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al Khelaifi has confirmed that the French side are closing in on a deal for Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
The Magpies decided to sell the France international after PSG came in with an improved offer on Monday, which is believed to be close to the Premier League side's £20m valuation.
And Cabaye has reportedly made his way to Paris for a medical ahead of signing a three-and-a-half-year deal, although Al Khelaifi cautioned that the transfer should not be seen as certain to go through.
"It is not done," he said. "There are discussions, that's true, but it is not finished."
Asked what attributes Cabaye brought to the table, the PSG president told L'Equipe: "One, he is a very good player and very interesting to us.
"Two - I have never met him but I was told he is a nice guy.
"Three - he is French and it is very important for us at PSG to recruit French players to bring into the French championship."
It has been reported in France that PSG stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva have expressed doubts about the merit of the signing.
But Al Khelaifi added: "The players are there to play.
"There are major players like captain Thiago Silva or Ibra, who may have their feelings about this or that player, but they are completely in line with the club's point of view.
"Of course, they want the best players in the world to come to Paris. But Cabaye is a very good player, no doubt about it."

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Milan confirm Taarabt talks
Milan’s official television station confirmed negotiations with QPR and Fulham to swap Cristian Zaccardo with Adel Taarabt.
The news was announced on Milan Channel this afternoon, though a deal is not yet complete.
Taarabt had been linked with a move to the Rossoneri last year, but was not taken any further for the Moroccan international.
According to Sport Mediaset, Zaccardo would join Fulham in a straight exchange for Taarabt, even though he is on loan from QPR.
Taarabt is a 24-year-old who can play in any of the supporting roles required for Coach Clarence Seedorf’s 4-2-3-1 system.
Zaccardo is a 32-year-old centre-back who has made eight appearances in all competition for Milan this season, but has been a bit-part player since arriving from Parma in January 2013.

AC Milan need some A+ players imo. Essien and Taarabt aren't that.
Maybe Lamela on loan which would sort the RW problem.

Ideally I would rather we get Cerci. Last year on his contract and will be fairly cheap.
Anyways to the PL fans, how good is Taarabt? I don't think we would lose much by signing him tbh, its a swap with Zaccardo going the other way lol.

Almost seems like a signing for profit. I'm sure they can flog Taarabt for a few million after he inevitably flops.

We play a 4-2-3-1, SES is out for the season. His competition is Robinho, Kaka and Honda. And our depth for that front three is Birsa and Saponara lol. He'll be first option off the bench.
And if he performs well, I see no problem with him getting a starting place over Robinho tbh.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Taarabt.... he has no work ethic = he's completely out of shape and it's always been like that. He has a massive ego... so he can't accept that he's in fact shat. He also doesn't listen to the manager... often gets benched due to disciplinary problems.
Other than that, he's ok
He's been trying to get out of QPR for 2 years now but nobody wants him.
