Dortmund were coasting, which is why it's even better he was motm because they weren't looking to concede. He created all 3 of the 1v1's that we missed, including Ozil and Higuain's misses.

My instincts tell me he is off to Madrid. He has been linked there till last summer and Marca and Bild repeatedly has stated since then that he is off there on the summer and Marca even said something about a pre-contract agreement.

Gundogan is very good defensively but he needs a DM. I don't know what midfield Madrid will field next season if he goes there. He is better than all their Cms but he needs a DM beside him. He had Bender/Gundogan in Dortmund.

If Xavi is indeed leaving Barcelona, then there is no one better Barca can get to replace him than Gundogan. They are very different but Gundogan can fit in Barca perfectly.

Man Utd obviously needs him the most but if Barca and Madrid bid, Gundogan won't have any hesitation rejecting Moyes.

Bayern if they did not have Schweini, Martinez, Lahm the CM and Kroos would definitely get him lol.

Chelsea could do with him. A Gundogan-Matic midfield looks good on paper but leaves a bit to be desired in defence.

And Sahin is not better than Gundogan. Sahin surpassed him this season, yeah of course he did when Gundogan only played one fckin game. Sahin has not played in the level of Gundogan, who was the best CM in CL last year did or even recreated his 2010-11 form. Dortmund miss Gundogan like hell, it's clear to see.

All I'm saying is that Sahin is better than Gündogan at almost everything a midfielder needs, that doesn't mean I'm 'putting him down', it only means that Sahin is a better footballer.

Well, if United are interested which they genuinenly seem to be I think Liverpool, City etc. have no chance so effectively it's between Bayern and United.

I thought he was the perfect Xavi replacement in his prime (lol, talking like that about a 24 year old) but I'm not sure he is the same player right now nor that he will regain his old form. I have the feeling he will do a Sahin/Kagawa from here on. So I'd pass for € 30M.

There were rumours that Barca sent doctors to check him a while ago. Since then all the "Gündogan to Barca" rumours have died down. lol

Besides I don't fear that he would turn United into an unstoppable force. Van Haal will *bleep* it up one way or another. Falcao/Di Maria mark II. While at Bayern he will probably end up in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

Read somewhere he doesnt want to join Arsenal.It could easily be not true as well I know. They are the only competition I think in PL for us. If its Between city and united we will get him, I am confident about that, if we are in for him that is. As for Liverpool does they really want him ? I am sure they like arsneal are in for a DM primarily right now and not a B2B like gundo. They have Henderson for that role and he has signed a new contract too.
