Arsene Wenger was at the Barcelona vs Levante game to scout a Barcelona player for next season, according to Antena 3 TV.
My guess is he was checking out either Tello or Montoya.

Schalke won't sell under the release clause (reported 45 mio Euros) as they want to keep Jule if possible (his contract runs till 2018).windkick wrote:Gunners; quick question. So far ya'll are linked with rumors to Draxler and Rodrigo. Which one of the two would ya'll rather land and why? They both seem cost you about 30M or so and play different positions, and are about the same age or so. Neither is a huge goal threat but have potential. What are ya'lls opinions?

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Juventus have entered negotiations for Danilo D’Ambrosio, further igniting tensions between themselves and Inter.
The proposed swap deal between Fredy Guarin and Mirko Vucinic was cancelled late on Tuesday night by Nerazzurri owner Erick Thohir – much to the displeasure of the Bianconeri.
And La Stampa report that the Old Lady are now turning their attentions to the Toro defender, despite a widely held belief that the player already has an agreement with the San Siro outfit.
D’Ambrosio is expected to join Inter in the summer when his contract at Torino expires.
However, the paper believes that Antonio Conte’s men are now keen on bringing the full-back across the city, and are willing to pay for the privilege this month.
Typical Juventus..

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Roberto Martinez is hopeful that Everton will still sign Lacina Traore despite reports that Monaco could pull the plug on the deal.
The Merseyside club were granted a work permit for the Ivory Coast international on Tuesday ahead of a proposed loan move for the rest of the season.
However, Radamel Falcao sustained a potentially serious knee injury on Wednesday, and reports on Thursday claimed Monaco could decide to keep Traore if the striker is ruled out for a significant period.
Martinez expects Everton to find out on Thursday if the deal will go through and is optimistic an agreement can be reached with the wealthy French club.
"We're still working on it, there is nothing to announce as yet. The work permit was successful, there a few other issues to get through but there is nothing to announce," he told reporters.
When asked if Falcao's injury could scupper the deal, the Spaniard added: "We hope that's not something that should affect the decision to allow Lacina to go out on loan.
"At the moment the deal is not complete, so it's difficult for me to comment but it's something we should find out quite quickly in the next few hours."
If Martinez does get his man, the boss expects the signing of Traore to be his last before the transfer window shuts next week.
He said: "That will probably be it, the main two targets was a striker and Aiden McGeady [who signed from Spartak Moscow on January 11]."

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Wilfried Zaha is set to join Cardiff on loan with Manchester United ready to grant the winger his wish to leave Old Trafford.
Zaha stormed out of training last week after he was told that the champions would not sanction a temporary move, but Ashley Young's return to fitness and the imminent arrival of Juan Mata has seen Old Trafford officials reconsider.
The 21-year-old, who joined the club from Crystal Palace for £17 million in the summer, is desperate for playing time after seeing his career stall in Manchester this season.
Sources at United have indicated that there are concerns over the youngster's attitude and development since his arrival at the club, with relations having been left strained after the altercation over a loan move being vetoed last week.
However, with Young having recovered from a shoulder injury and Mata expected to complete his £37 million deal with United on Thursday, United officials are satisfied that the squad has enough strength in midfield to allow Zaha a move until the end of the season.
The England U-21 international has not yet undergone a medical ahead of the move to South Wales, but went for a scan on a toe injury at Manchester's private Bridgewater Hospital on Wednesday.
Newcastle had previously been in pole position to land Zaha but new Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has looked to use his United connections to secure one of the brightest young talents in English football.
Moyes has gone on record to suggest that a loan deal would suit Zaha’s development and benefit United in the long run.

You're still going on with this nonsense? Thought us signing one of the best midfielders in the world would have hushed that brah. Besides, don't underestimate Klopp's hard-on for Kagawa. Gundogan is going regardless, may as well get a Bundi legend and fan/manager favourite as well as a nice cash payment.
Also, Gundogan called us a dream club in the past. Nothing about this happening is unrealistic, makes sense tbh.

Have to feel bad for Dortmund. They build something great and now all the big clubs in Europe are using that crop of players like a grocery store to take them all away at will it seems. Hard to replace team chemistry over night, even if Dortmund turn around and try to rebuild it will take a while

Yeah because the likes of Barca and Madrid ( others too) are just gonna sit there and watch you buy one of their targets?
Sure brah.
You seem to have this notion that if you agree with a fee with a team other teams can't do the same
Also the notion of Dortmund selling in January

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
it really does depend if we go for him mole, i think we would do better spending that money on people like Vidal or Pogba. Wouldnt shock if that's the conversation atm in madrid, specially with Alonso having renewed, Modric performing so well atm, and Illarra upping his level whenever he gets minutes.

Manu are getting a bit desperate..So a crazy offer(something like 35m + Kagawa) could persuade them to sell him.
This is the same club who bid 40m for Khedira To give you some perspective.

Genoa will complete the signings of Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso and Juventus defender Marco Motta today, according to reports in Italy. The Grifone have agreed terms with all parties for the pair, with just the details needed to be signed off.

Well, if Dortmund really would get Shinji Kagawa and a lot of cash for Ilkay Gündogan, they probably wouldn't exactly make a bad deal, considering the time Gündogan spends on the sidelines. ^^
