Looooooool Nick
To think we sold him for 12Mill, and it's not like he was young which typically bumps the price up. Allegri, Juventus legend
But nah, I think that's harsh on Matri. Even at his worst for Juve, his runs and movement was really great. He was just awful at finishing.
And in the early stages of the season for Milan, Matri was pulling off some decent flick ons and passes, which Balotelli repeatedly f*cked up. Not to mention Balo just flat out ignored him.
I'm not 'defending' him, he's pretty damn average. Borderline bad at some points. But he's being made to look worse than he already is this season.

To the Liverpool fans.
If You were to lose Suarez but Sign Mata as a replacement. Will that improve Liverpool as a team, make them worse, or stay at the same level?

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Barcelona midfielder Xavi has not received any offers from other clubs during the January transfer window, according to his representative.
The 33-year-old has been linked with a possible switch to New York Red Bulls, while Premier League giants Manchester City are also reportedly keen on a securing a deal which would see the player join their Major League Soccer franchise New York FC.
However, one of the Spain veteran's entourage have stressed the player is keen to see out the remaining two years of his contract at Camp Nou, insisting the transfer rumours have emerged simply due to a recent interview in which Xavi claimed it can be difficult for players to see out their careers with Barcelona.
"There has never been a formal proposal from another team for Xavi," his representative told Goal. "This has always been done through intermediaries, but no team has come with an offer.
"Who wouldn't want Xavi? It's normal for his age, for his quality. Today we hear it's Red Bulls, tomorrow they could decide that it's Toronto who want him, and the English media say it's Manchester City.
"But there's nothing in it, although it's logical for them to make up what they want.
"All of this has come about after Xavi said he didn't know if he could retire at Barcelona, but he has a contract for two more years and he will continue to be at Barcelona."

The only way we'd improve by replacing Suarez by any other player, would be buying Messi. But I doubt he could get a brace at Britannia to be fair.

Mata, Suarez and Sturridge together...the new tactics will be 'outscore the opponents'

For West Ham's sake it had better have been a bid of less than 10m pounds.

Wonder how all my fellow Bologna/Besiktas fans feel about that
In other news, we're allegedly close to signing Davide Zappacosta
A young Italian full-back.
