I think that would be good move for both parties... Nainggolan gets CL football and a move to a bigger club just before WC... bit of a gamble but if i pays off and gets a regular spot at Psg it would be hard for Wilmots to not start him considering Belgium's midfielders poor displays (Dembele,Fellaini).
Psg gets a good player who is able to compete with guys like Verratti and Motta.

Keyword there is "compete".
Dunno enough about his personality to say one way or another, but it remains to be seen whether he would knowingly take a bench/depth/rotation role at a bigger club. He would face this type of situation with any of PSG, Roma, or Milan since all have established midfielders. Inter may be the right club for him in this regard since they could do with a younger, more complete midfielder alongside Guarin (if he stays).

Re: Predict winter transfers
It will be a cold day in hell when Cabaye is sold in January.
Not a chance of it happening, summer yes but not in January.

Re: Predict winter transfers
Fair enough, Inter might be the best team for him (Thohir and starting spot) but the idea is not as bad as u might think... A midfield of Matuidi-Verratti/Motta is not exactly world-class and Blanc probably wants to rotate when challenging for ligue 1 and CL title... I think if Cabaye is unavailable then Nainggolan would be great second option.

PSG is going to buy a midfielder. Cabaye is their top target and Nainggolan is their second choice. cabaye won't leave now except for a ridiculous fee and so that leaves Nainggolan. Now if there is a bidding war between PSG, Milan, Inter and Juventus. we all know who is going to win

Its not going to happen for two reasons.....
Its going to take crazy money for us to consider selling Cabaye mid season..... and i mean crazy.
Also i can't see Cabaye leaving to sit on the bench and then risking his spot for France.
Smart money is on him staying till the Summer and then going after the WC.

Re: Predict winter transfers
Ditto that for Nainggolan. Which makes the move to Inter or Milan more likely. The lesser competition for him to displace, the easier it is for him to get into the Belgian midfield. As much as I'd love to have him at Roma, he'd find it tough getting into our midfield at present.

Re: Predict winter transfers
only 2 clubs want REALLY Naingolaan : Milan and Roma. It will be a challenge between these two clubs.
Inter is interested only to a " inside forward" if Guarin leaves the club ( I hope no , absolutely... I can accept it in the summer but it would be a disaster to let go one of the best in squadr, fantastic in last derby , in January ) , PSG I don't think at all ...all nonsense newspapers..
PSG wants only Cabaye , that would be the perfect signing, great player and French ( the fans and the French press often criticize the lack of French players to PSG... )

Player choice hardly matters now. What matters is who makes the highest bid. Bernard was begging Atletico Mineiro to let him go to Porto and Lamela cried beacuse he did not want to leave Roma, but we all saw how thing turned out. Let's see what happens with Nainggolan. He will leave this winter definitely.

Yeah that's highly likely and you're correct in that its not really his decision. Like I said though, the consequences of the wrong move could have some damaging fallout for him though in terms of getting in the Belgian team.
If I'm Nainggolan, that's a top worry for me secretly while outwardly, I'd be as confident as ever regardless of where I end up.

Re: Predict winter transfers
journalists covering PSG in france say that PSG have no interest in Nainggolan at all, that it's a link fabricated by his president to get his name out there and to bargain harder.

Well...that changes things.
Oh yeah, forgot about Guarin to Chelsea. That's a given even though rumours seem to have cooled down now.

Re: Predict winter transfers
Guarin is the most inconsistent football player and thats the reason why I have no idea how to feel about his sale (if it were to happen). When I see him play the way he did against Milan it would be disastrous, however he is the most frustrating player to watch when he is off form.
If we sell him, I'd rather use the money on someone like Lavezzi instead of Nainggolan.
