Got the Atheon's Epilogue auto rifle today. It has void damage, bonus damage against oracles, almost perfect stability if upgraded and 70 rounds

Thorn is amazing lol. Not a fan of hand cannons but this is a great one. Looks so sexy as well

Congratulations to both of you I really want Atheon's Epilogue. That void damage is sweet. I'm currently working on upgrading Mida-Multitool. I have a fast trigger-finger, so the hair-trigger upgrade is going to allow me to dish out a shít ton of damage

I cringe at the thought of having to do tons of crucible for some of my exotic bounties. I got my last exotic bounty today, which means that I've gotten all 5 of them in less than two weeks. RIP bounty space

I really hope the expansions offer something more interesting to this game, and not just a few new missions/planets/gear; because that will obviously just put us in the situation we're in now, eventually - we'll complete what's worth completing, and then we'll have to wait for the next expansion for something to do.

Vault of Glass was an interesting addition to the game, but there's definitely room for more variation/things to do/alternatives. Maybe it's just me, but I already think Vault of Glass has gotten really bland. I mean, it's alright.. but it's not that interesting anymore. Maybe the gloomy caverns and lack of colour has something to do with it? I don't know.. it just went from being really cool to kind of boring before I knew it. I want, and still need gear from VoG, but the thought of actually going there for the umpteenth time doesn't exactly stimulate my golden gun!

From what I hear, there's a lot of unreleased content on the disc already, so hopefully they've got something brand new in store for us that won't feel boring and repetitive too fast. They spent, what, 6 years on making this game? Internal conflicts or not, I refuse to believe that they don't have something more up their sleeve than a basic expansion of what's already there.

From the looks of it, the new DLC will be new raid, new missions and new strikes. I don't think they will offer anything new to play in terms of variety.

I've been told not to play any PVP til I'm top level with great gear...thoughts? I haven't tried it yet.

Nah it's alright to play PVP when you are level 10 or so. Of course there will be guys with higher level but PVP gives you good weapons/armour at times and you need the crucible marks from it too.

Exotic gear needs 200,000 experience to be fully upgraded, so to upgrade all my gear again I need over 4 million experience!!!!! It took me 2 months of hardcore time investment to get that done the first time, and they want me to do it all again?! Fk off!!!!!!

You know what? Fk it, I'm done, screw the DLC, I'm done with this game.

The funny thing is the Exotic upgrading fiasco isn't the worst part, the faction commendations needed to buy the new legendary gear(read:non-raid and non-exotic gear) is the real bullshit.

You gotta constantly grind that Crucible and Vanguard rep if you want to buy stuff from the vendors now, unlike there being a set reputation you needed to have to buy stuff like there used to be. New players to Destiny are royally screwed.
