Just an odd game overall. Didn't know if we would be playing in the Ukraine or Cypress until very late. I'm assuming Dnipro thought the same considering the sad state of that pitch. Then with the late notice Sherwood decided to rest many of the starters for the fixture on Sunday.

In the end players are people, and if it was me with everything going on in Ukraine there would be no way I could focus honestly. Spurs played like it, they just got in the flow of the game. The miss by Soldado was a bad one, but I still hope Soldado will come good as he does a lot of good things when he plays in terms of vision and distribution, plus he's a genuinely good guy.

If you want a video the shows how bad the pitch is, watch the vine of the penalty by Vertoghen, ridiculous how much that ball bounces.

His numbers don't lie, he was fairly clinical in Spain. Not just according to his goal numbers, but his chance conversion was very good as well.

Don't know what happened. I mean, the service he's gotten at Tottenham has been awful on the whole, but he still hasn't finished what he has gotten for the most part, which is expected. I can only hope he stays for next season and picks up where he left off a season ago and forgets this season ever happened.
