United Back in Form
Favourites for the PL now IMO. Even with City's 2 point lead.

Re: United Back in Form
Welbeck....this kid is the real deal.
Carrick on top form, Valencia ripping up LB's again, Nani back at his best and Rooney banging in the goals and looking confident again= United's current form.
Edit: Oh and Phil 'Beast' Jones too.

Carrick needs a holding mf beside him. You can't play a deep lying playmaker without a ball winner. The reason carrick looked great in 08 is because we had hargro. Carrick is still for me one of the best deep lying playmaker in the prem.

He is a far more solid keeper. De gea makes spectacular saves but has a massive margin for error.

While you saying that, City is leading the table in December...
Tell me, for how long could a team in la liga lead the table?

I actually think he is a great ball winner, that is something he has vastly improved in his game. Get;s into to good positions to intercept balls + wins many tackles. Phil Jones is benefiting in MF currently because of Carrick's good defensive work. It allows Jones the freedom to bomb forward with those runs of his.

Re: United Back in Form
Yea, Lindegaar has been a monster.
He has shut down those offensive powerhouses of Fulham, Norwich, Sunderland and Aston Villa.
I mean if they didn't have him they probably get blown out all those games.
While De Gea has shut out Spurs, Everton, Bolton, Swansea, and QPR and let one goal in against Brom, Chelsea, Stoke, Liverpool, Newcastle (penalty), and Wolves.
And 11 out of 13 of De Gea's EPL games he has either let up 1 or 0 goals and this comes at a time where United fans were ragging on there own defense.
I don't get it. It seems like every announcer and tons of EPL fans just want to kill De Gea for no reason what so ever. I mean if De Gea shut out Fulham every one would say who cares it was Fulham but if Lindegaar does it he is a monster.
Ever since De Gea stepped foot in England people have been out to prove he sucks. I wish he would just leave and go to a team / country that appreciates him.

Re: United Back in Form
The irony of a la liga fan talking about a predictable league.
I think man united are fav's to win it. But I wouldn't count city out. It's true united come good after winter but the depth city have now should make it interesting.

The title race is still wide open. I don't know how people can write off teams like Chelsea and Arsenal so easily, especially after inevitable investment in January.

Honestly only a few really think that, us united fans on the cafe, all know De Gea has the more potential and is our number 1 keeper

That's good to know because I think he's done just about as good as a first year keeper at United can do. I mean there was always going to be a little bit of a drop off from Van Der Saar but I guess it's just the announcers and some fans because every time I watch him they nit pick every little thing he does.
